Very clean, and great facilities (good wifi and showers, kitchen with hotplates only). Very much like staying in someones home. No bunks. The best thing about the hostel is definitely Miran himself - with me arranging it, he met me at the bus stop (based on my arrival time) and helped me with my bags to his hostel, and made me a cuppa. Super nice guy. I have heard his tours around the regional are absolutely unmissable (unfortunately not running when I was there in the middle of winter...)

Miran is very nice; however, at the moment, he is renovating his hostel so you end up staying at another house. It's clean and has warm water all the time, but if you want to meet people, I suggest finding a different place.

highly highly recommend staying here. Not only is it great accommodation per the hostelworld assessment criteria. But you will definitely gain something much more by staying here. Miran, his brother and family are very friendly and hospitable. Stay here if you want to really experience Mostar (and bosnia) through the eyes of a local family. Theres much more to Mostar than just the Old Bridge, the stories from this town are important to hear.

Nice hostel 5 minutes walk from the bridge. Miran is a really nice guy and gave us a long tour of the area even though there were only 2 of us. Recommended.

Miran is a very kind, welcoming man. We weren't in the main hostel but a room above his grandparents' place, which was a 5-10 minute walk from the other hostel. Although this meant we weren't as near other travellers, we had a huge room, WiFi access and Miran's grandmother was the sweetest - giving us an umbrella to use and feeding us pomegranates. I guess it wasn't a typical hostel stay but probably nicer because of the personal aspect of it - we had Bosnian family hospitality!

I enjoyed my stay at hostel Miran, but was there during the off season so the hostel wasn't that busy. The hostel was under construction, but I recommend staying there.

Miran picked us up from the train station and brought us to his house which was a great help with our bags. Very homely and welcoming feeling when we arrived, received a map with all the important places on which was useful. The tours which Miran provides look excellent, we were only staying for one night otherwise we would have definitely asked about one. We hope to visit again when Miran and his family have finished their renovations!

Great hostel, even though they were doing some renovations. Miran and his lovely family were very welcoming. Would recommend the day tour they offer. Miran was busy renovating so his cousin took us, was excellent!

This doesn't feel like a hostel, it feels like Miran is welcoming you into his home. Miran, thank you for sharing your stories about Mostar. A truly unique experience. Good luck with the renovations to your hostel, I'll have to come back and see what you have done with the place! Zivjeli!

A very welcoming family. We arrived on the train nearly 2 hours late but Miran was waiting for us. Ask him about doing the tour of Hercegovina (stunning scenary, swimming in waterfalls and Miran's entertaining banter ). Watched a very moving film about the war in the evening at the hostel. Would definitely stay there again....

Miran was so generous with his time in sharing with us about the war and letting us know where to go. Coffee was given on arrival and in the morning which was so nice.Location is easy walk everywhere and close to bus station. He is renovating soon which will add further to this good hostel. Stay here for great family feel an interaction with the locals!!!

This was a very clean and comfortable hostel. The staff is very welcoming and offers two tours/excursions. We took the War Tour option and spent 2 hours walking around Mostar on a personal tour to see the front lines of the war and its effects on modern-day Mostar. Location worked out well (10 mins from Old town and 5 mins from the bus station).
