Very useful the owner speaks English very well. We had a car and she worried about where we could park free and she found one. It’s no a modern place, but it’s clean and just three or four minutes by walk to Old Town. I would recommend it if you are not looking for a fashion place. Thanks the owner for making us easier.
Miran makes everyone feel welcome as soon as they arrive and creates a wonderful atmosphere at the hostel. Good communal area that is great for meeting other travellers. Miran's tour to areas outside the centre of Mostar was fantastic. Both Miran and his cousin were kind enough to share their experiences and passionate feelings about Mostar's recent history. Only downside was that it was over 40 degrees when we were there and the rooms are not air conditioned although we were given an extra fan
A good location in the city and close to the bus station. It was very clean as well.
Great Hostel in every technical aspect and Miran is an awesome guy.
Best place i stand i my summer 2013. nice house, with a really friendly terasse. close to the old town. But all the spirit of this hostel, is about the staff. Miran and his family are exceptionnal. Really easy to acces. And so much interesting ! I spend five night there, talking about many things. If you go there, you have to do the tour. best day in my summer! If you're looking somewhere to go in mostar, don't hesitate more !
It was one of the best hostel I've ever stayed. Miran and his family around are not just your friends but your family! Location of the hostel is in the very center of the city. I will definitely visit them again next year. By the way Miran's tour is the best! I recommend this lovely place for the travelers. Beyond your expectations.
A really well run Hostel. The service was great and Miran was really good with me and my brothers. He went out of his way to cater our needs.

Miran and his family are amazing. They went out of their way to make sure everyone was taken care of and happy. For example, they cracked open a watermelon for all of us to eat (this really facilitated conversation between folks at the hostel). Miran, his brother, and his cousin run amazing tours (two different ones); I didn't schedule enough time in Mostar. I only stayed for two days, but I should have stayed for 3-4, so I could have done all the tours. Really nice folks, nice town!
It is cheap but some of the staff is not as kind as other hostels I stayed before around this area. There is a child living there and the mother complained when the door snaps during the day because the kid was having a nap. The place is decent and clean enough. The excursion to "waterfalls and other surrounded areas" is nice but it costs the same as other touristic agencies in downtown. Maybe you must research other offers before taking it.
Best tours ever! Keep up the good mood and don't let tourism destroy the charm of your fantastic hostel. It's a great place to meet other young travellers.
Really helpful staff and excellent location. I was told the tours they organize are amazing: I didn't join them, but everyone there was super-satisfied! Great place where to stay in Mostar!
Fantastic hostel. Miran and Maja make you feel really welcome,on arrival you are offered Bosnian coffee or tea.Miran is full of help and advice on trips, restaurants and your next destination. This hostel had the best atmosphere out of all the hostels I stayed in. I was only supposed to stay one night but ended up staying 3 I liked it so much. I did the Miran tour and it was excellent. I saw some beautiful places and got a great insight into Bosnia's history. Hostel is so clean and rooms are big.
Good hostel but would benefit from another bathroom and air con in the rooms during the summer!
Hostel Miran is really 5 minutes away from the bus station by walk and 10 minutes from the old city. The lady that received us was really helpful and friendly. Everything was clean. The kitchen was not in the same house that we were, so we had to change our plan concerning our meals. But everything else was perfect! There is a nice a terrace and good coffee! It is the place to stay in Mostar! Thanks a lot!!
Miran is awsome. Take the one-day tour and visit the waterfall, it is amazing. Learn to know the history before you go to Bosnia-Herzegovina, you will get so much more out of your visit. Thanks Miran, you rock!
Miran is funny, helpful and hospitable and immediately makes you feel right at home. Room with six beds is pretty spacious and bathrooms are clean, nice big shower. I stayed here for three nights and was traveling alone and met great people. Patio is perfect for morning coffee/tea which is provided by the hostel. Also, Go on Mirans war tour, it's fantastic!
Miran and his family are so hospitable and happy to help. The hostel itself is connected to their family home, and it is clean and comfortable, with air conditioning in bedrooms. I also wished I could have stayed longer to take Miran's day-long tour, but I was limited with time and only had 1 night. Was a little confused finding it from the bus stop, but assume the "first right" means the first laneway on your right after the petrol station! A very pleasant stay at Hostel Miran, I recommend it.
Miran was a really special and fun character! It is a good place if you want some authentic opinion on the war and Mostar as a city. If you are shy or want to be by yourself, this is not the place to go, otherwise go for it
this was the best hostel we've stayed at! amazing owners and such a good atmosphere - we wanted to stay longer! Miran is such a lovely guy - his tour was the highlight of our trip! we learnt so much about Mostar during our stay. thank you so much :)
