Having stayed in numerous hostels around Europe this was one of the best. It has everything you need from a hostel like cleanliness, comfort and facilities but also has excellent staff with a lot of activities and sightseeing organised by the hostel. If you want to relax thats fine and if you want to see the brilliant city of mostar and its surrounds by day and party at night this is the place to stay. I extended my visit by one night and will definitely be back.

The hospitality and helpfulness of the staff and particularly the genuine friendliness of the owner Armel are what set Hostel Miturno apart. We felt like we were staying with friends rather than in a private hostel. Armel is also very knowledgeable regarding the history and culture of the area and this gave our stay in Mostar a personal touch that we could not have gotten elsewhere - an unforgettable experience.

I loved it here. The place was clean, had a great set of guests and friendly staff. Armel, who lived in Mostar through the war, gave us an amazing personal tour of the city. He took us to many places that only locals would know about, and told us about life during the war. Climbing to the top of a bombed out building used by snipers was a surreal experience. His tour and hospitality is definitely one of the highlights of my three month Europe trip. I'll be back!

A great hostel, would definitely recommend staying here. Armel is a friendly guy who went out of his way to help with information about the town and he even helped me with sorting out excursions around Mostar. Best of all is the location, right in the centre of town but not far from the bus station, which meant it was easy for me to get to Sarajevo the next day, very handy! Beds are comfy, nice dorms and everything was relaxed. Watch out for the rakeeya they give you though, it's rocket fuel!

Great owner and staff, friendly from the moment I walked in the door. Went out to have a drink with them and really enjoyed their company, will definitely recommend the hostel to anyone passing through Mostar, great place to really meet the people living there and get a feel for the history and flow of the city.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hostel Miturno, incredibly good value for money and very welcoming staff meant that we stayed an extra night and really got a good feel for the town. Would like to return here in the future for more interesting and inspiring conversations with the owner Armel! Also, the hostel has a great atmosphere since it used to be a bar across two floors, and plenty of original features remain including Disco Ball and great high-street location - 10 out of 10!

Nice rooms, central location close to the old bridge. Staff is so nice and always some activities to do. The place used to be a club and than they changed it into a hostel. There are only 3 bathrooms so sometimes you might have to wait for your turn . Armel organizes a great tour of Mostar and surrounding villages. It is amazing and it is very personal. The people in Mostar are so friendly. We went for a pub crawl, they call it Armels Pub Crawl and it is absolutely brilliant.

The hostel was at a very convenient location right near the old bridge. The staff- (in particular Armel) went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, they were very welcoming and they provided us with heaps of local knowledge. We were given a free walking tour and were invited to see the local nightlife. I would definitely recommend to stay here again. We also arranged a day tour through the hostel which was really interesting.

Good location - easy to walk to both of the old town and clubs/pubs in the new town. Armel, the young owner has so nice character, I enjoyed pub crawls and short trip to the suburbs with him and another guests!

.I think is one of the best hostels I've stayed in. It started with the easy check in, don't worry about passports, of signing a register or payment...just kick back and have a beer. The host and owner Armel was friendly and welcoming from the outset, he is a wealth of information on the history and current activities of Mostar....and can arrange or lead tours of the town and surrounding areas, or accompany you for a few drinks. I'd go back to Mostar just to hang out here. Good value good vibes!

The first impression was that of tackiness (strangely painted walls and a funny smell), this stopped being an issue when we entered our bedroom and we discoverd torn sheets, dust everywhere and windows that let the chilly air of Mostar in. Toilets were not clean enough and they did not have any central heating.

Such a cool place right in the old town, big common room, friendly staff, they really make sure you feel welcomed. Armel is an interesting character, we went out for drinks with him and his friends, it was interesting to see how the local people live and the stories they told us about life in Mostar before the war and stories about the war, it was just unbelievable. We didn't expect it to be like this at all. We also did the waterfall tour with Armel and it was just perfect.

A really nice place to stay right in the old town. Armel the owner organizes free city tour when you come. They really treat you more like a friend than just a guest and the waterfall tour is a must do definitely!

A great all-round hostel - ideal location in the centre of Mostar's Old Town, great rooms, helpful staff, organised excursions from the hostel and easy to get to and from the bus and train station. Perfect!

The building was chilly entirely. Other than that, I recommend this hostel.
