Beds were the best I've ever slept in in a hostel, spaceous nice looking dorms as well. Only the kitchen could use some more pots and pans an maybe a new watercooker. Oh and I found all 4 staff members I met really indifferent and not kind at all. Heard the same from fellow travelers. But overall Mondpalast is just pretty awesome.

It's wonderful. The dining area is well-furnished, and the shower room is clean. I'll stay there again in my future visits. :)

The hostel is located near plenty of bars and restaurants. The kitchen facilities are great. The bar attached to the hostel is a little pricey, but you can buy your own things and sit in the common room and kitchen. The showers were clean and hot. A well equiped hostel, I'd definitely stay again

Everything was nice, except that they charged 2 Euro extra for bedclothes without telling in the advertisment

The staff didn't have much information about the city, tours and stuff. But, I lost my cellphone on my way from the train station to the hostel, and the receptionist was really helpful! she called my phone several times, arranged a meeting with the girl who found it for me to go pick it up. She was really nice. The location is good for going out at night, the showers were good, the mattress was ok...!

The staff is a little rude, and there's a bar in the entrance of the Hostel. The prices aren't very good there and at night it gets crowded. Have a ood kitchen with all facilities.

The location is great! Right in the Neustadt, close to all the bars and nice little cafés. The beds are cosy, the rooms spacious and clean. Showers could be a bit improved (though they are also very clean!). The common room area could be a bit bigger, it's not too easy to get in contact with other travelleres (apart from the ones staying in your room).

Its location is quite good, very close to lot of cafes and also in walking distance from the city center. Overall a nice place and a good value for money.

The hostel is above a bar, so if you want to meet people it's easy to go down to the bar and interact. We had to go through 2 locked doors to get to our room so security was good. The bathrooms were down the hall, so it's not quite as nice as hostels that have a bathroom in your dorm. Also sometimes the bar is loud at night if you're trying to sleep, but it wasn't too bad.

It was a bit far to the tram lines especially when hauling luggage or a backpack. Also it was unnerving to discover that no personell was on duty during the night. What if there was a fire or smoke? The showers were quite nice - unusually so for a hostel. Wonderful staff and nice bar on the ground floor. Great neighborhood with reasonably priced restaurants.

The hostel is very cute and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpfull. And I love the shower area, even this being a comom area, because you can take a shower and dry and dress yourself inside a private individual area.

Hostel was clean, and we had the 2 beds in the room that weren't bunkbeds! The kitchen was great to have with groceries stores not far. It is located in Neustadt Dresden, about a 7 min tram ride from the train station, and a 10-15min walk from the tram. Lots of character.
