There were not many people staying in the hostel when we were there. Hence it ws rather boring...

The worst hostel i have stayed at in Mexico in 4 months of traveling. The sheets were stained, smelly, and covered in hair, obviously because they had not been washed. the shower was clogged with hair and so it was backed up almost immediately, and there was no shower curtain. the front desk staff was ok, but the bartender was as likely to be at the bar as not, and the drinks were very overpriced. The only real positive aspect of it was the hostel\'s close proximity to the Zocalo.

The staff were extremely helpful with transport, tours and the general things in the area. Great location for getting around on foot or metro and buses both are just close by.

I didnt find the place a Hostel, it is more a cheap hotel. It does not have a hostel spirit. They held parties in the terrace on sunday nights, but most of the people is not even guest... if you want to sleep while the party is on, forguet it... music goes up to 4am

This hostel is great if you're looking for a party scene. The above is based on my age and necessity of using the hostel as a place to crash before an early airport run. Very good location for seeing the Centro in D.F and having a blast if you're not picky about a place to crash. If you are, steer clear. The hostel also opens up to the public at night, which compromises security a bit.

hostel was very cheap, staff was very nice. The rooms were kinda bare, and they weren\'t soundproof at all. very noisy. was very near the center of the city(100m). first room they gave me had a broken wondow and I couldn\'t sleep because of the noise outside so they gave me another bigger room. that was nice of them.

I had a great stay in Hostel Moneda. Location is excellent, very central, dorm rooms just like in any other hostel, good thing was some power sockets in the room. Best thing about this hostel is very friendly and helpful staff! Girl at the reception even called the clinic for me to get some info i needed about the x-ray i had to do for visa and suggested some places to visit. There's also cool roof terrace. Only bad thing was a bit dirty bathroom and first night it was quite empty.

A jackhammer worked from 10 pm to 4 pm under our window. The receptionist didn't want to help this at all. No warm water. After long hours of discussion they promised it by the next morning. Bed clothes looked worn and dirty as well as the bathroom. We asked for a quieter room - they were quieter, but awfully smelled and beds were impossible to sleep in. The next morning we flew back to Europe, a long trip were waiting for us, but despite of it we didn't manage to sleep more than 2 hours. SHAME!

Anyone from the staff could speak english. There was no running water for 3 days and when I decided to leave, it was difficult to get my money back. Stay away from this place! There is plenty other hostels around, much better ones!

They charged us full price when we had made a deposit on the room. They gave this money back, but it took several hours for them to make change. They gave us the key to someone else's room, twice! After moving to 3 times, we ended up in a filthy room. The sheets were stained, it smelled, and there were holes in all of the towels. We asked them to call a secure taxi in the morning. They called a private car and they told us it would cost $150. The driver charged us double when we arrived.

Nice view toward the cathedral, decent breakfast and dinner. amicable staff, and guests. To me it was a convenient hostel, for the price, location, near subway station in the Zocalo.

Buen hostel, las camas podrían ser un poco mejores, pero la ubicación, el precio, y el servicio son excelentes.

I really think they should keep the rooms very clean, because there's a lot of people going there, the walls were all messy and dirty, the floors, even the bathroom.

The staff wasn't competent, they made many mistakes. Furthermore, the room and especially the bathroom were very very dirty. Was it cleaned the last weeks? I think NO.

This is a great hostel, however, it is pretty noisy due to loud music being played well into the early hours of the morning.

The location of this hostel is very nice, just a few minutes away from the metro station. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and a computer with Internet access is available.
