I didn´t stay here at all in the end. I tried ringing and emailing several times before I left my country and got no response whatsoever so I cancelled and booked into a different and excellent hostel. The phone number that was available was not in service!!!!

I can't rate this hostel any lower because it no longer exists!! It's gone, closed, empty, and the owner is now in Merida, according to a neighbor. I've contacted hostelworld.com about this and been told I'll be given the $ 50 guarantee which is a help as we had to stay in a nearby, more expensive, hotel. If you have booked this hostel you are going to be sadly disappointed.
