Really liked this hostel. They had lots of planned activities during the week, everything from empanada making class to horse back riding. The staff was really helpful, and the overall atmosphere was great!
Fantastic hostel. Great place to meet people and really friendly and sociable staff. They are very generous with the free wine and the breakfast is brilliant. Although there are slightly cheaper hostels this one is well worth the money.
Nice hostel, very good facilities, several bathrooms, fairly clean, exceptional breakfast. There was not much going on when we were there, but they have a very nice garden and a communal area where one could meet other travelers. 5 min walk to the bus terminal, 10 min walk to the main square. Only downside was that the room was noisy at night, so if you have a problem with that, ask for a room that doesn't face the street.
The private room was very large and comfortable, but *no* air conditioning, which was a bit of a surprise for a private room in Mendoza. Free use of washing machine was excellent. Atmosphere for some reason when I was there was very quiet. They had an asado planned for the evening but no one signed up for it. Was a little difficult to meet people here. Maybe it's just the time that I was there...?
Excellent value for money, friendly and helpful staff!
Hostel was basic. While it advertises A/C, there was 1 room without A/C and we were stuck with it (unbearable in the summer heat). Make sure you specify a room with A/C! Staff is friendly, full of information and made it easy to figure out our activities.
We loved the activities that hostel organises - wine tasting, free happy hour everyday, empanada making classes etc and having the sister hostel with a pool is great! We didn't like the booking system & facilities say they have air con but not all rooms have this. They split our booking making one of us sleep in a non air con room (it's too hot for this in Jan) even though the other room wasn't full the whole time. My friend ended up sleeping on a mattress on the floor of the air con room..
Very friendly staff. Bathrooms were shared, but kept clean. Activities on offer every night an there were nice communal areas. Free use of washing machine and area to dry clothes. Good breakfast with eggs cooked to order.

nice hostel to stay, stay in a 4bed dorm instead of a 6bed dorm. 4bed room is bigger and has airco. breakfast was nice, only bad thing: the showers, very old!
Loved Gonzalez at reception. Endless pancakes and eggs to order at breakfast. Wine happy hour was fun. If there when it is hot, try to book sister hostel empedrado as it has a pool. Not all rooms have AC so check when you book!
Great hostel with a nice garden to hang out and have breakfast, breakfast is absolutely great with fresh fruit, eggs and pancakes, very friendly staff, great tours to be organised through the hostel, free use of Washing machine and central location of the hostel, easy to meet other individual travellers!
The standard most other hostels in Argentina should try and reach. Soap and paper towels in the bathrooms, cleaned daily, friendly and informative staff, excellent buffet breakfast. Bars and/or mosquito net on the window of the twin room in the garden would allow the room to be safely ventilated. Nicer tea at breakfast and softer toilet paper please....I have delicate tastes.
See my previous comments (for twin room booking). For dorm, hide the control for air con from Canadians.
very friendly and helpfull staff! delicate breakfast! :)

Rooms are clean and have great air conditioning which you need in mendoza in the summer. Breakfast is awesome!!!!! Fresh fruit, juice and pancakes or eggs. The garden is a nice spot to chill out in too. Only about 4 blocks from the bus station. Loved our stay here.
In the end i stayed one night instead of three, because i decided to go to santiago. It was not a problem to get my money back. Enjoyed the washing machine, atmosphere and the friendly staff. Close to the busstation, rooms are noicy because of trafic, big lockers and the hostel organises things. Had a nice stay.
Great place to stay in Mendoza, big rooms, comfy beds and the lady at reception was fantastic - really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in a long time!
We spend two days there and absolutely loved the hostel! The patio is really nice to hang out and relax after a hearty wine tour!
Nice hostel, decent food and free wine. However, a large amount of money got stolen from my bag when I left it out of my locker for a couple of hours one day, and given who was in the room, I think it could only have been one of the cleaning staff. Thus unfortunately I won't have great memories of this place.
Great hostel and great value for the money. Some rooms are a bit noisy due to the traffic on the street.
