AWESOME BREAKFAST! And the rest top too! Highly recommend to stay here!
Loved this, comfortable bed, free towels, beautiful breakfast, so many activities that are organised really laid back and friend good variety of people and age groups. Also free wine, good wifi and a tv with Spanish and English channels. Can't complain, was stuck in Mendoza due to landslide and this hostel made me so comfortable, for relaxing after travelling.
Really good hostel. Great communal areas and the hostel puts on a great asado twice a week. The front desk can help with tours and activities. Breakfast is great for a hostel. Could do with some extra power-points in the room we stayed in. Overall this was one of the better places I've stayed in.
Good points: Friendly, attentive staff. Easy walk from the bus station (under tunnel, follow Alem, then right at San Juan). Near some cheaper eating options on way to the more expensive ones on the pedestrian streets. Near lots of bookstores. Above-average breakfast. Free wine in evenings. Bad points: Beds are on thin side, on creaky metal bunks that are hard to climb. Overall, they're there to make your stay pleasant as opposed to hostels that just wanna make a buck. Would recommend.
Great breakfast, good beds and aircondition room, lots of activities available each day and friendly staff helped me a lot in a sticky situation!
Very friendly and helpful staff. If you arrive before 10, you get an additional breakfast!
I liked Hostel Mora a lot. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, great breakfast (omelettes and crepes). Would recommend it.
Very nice and calm hostel. Breakfast is a killer with omelets, pancakes etc. Free wine everynight and super nice staff. Good location too with everything in walking distance.
This has to be one of my favourites. A cute patio, with hammock, and Asado area. Great place for breakfast and dinner. Also a balcony with sofas which was nice to chill. Location is perfect for town, bus station, and tours. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Even helped us make an Asado one evening. Great for tours and seeing the area. Breakfast and free wine also good!
A good place to chill out. Free wine at night, and omelettes and pancakes included in the free breakfast. We rocked up a day later than we'd booked (and deposited for) because of some confusion with dates, but Diego kindly refunded our deposit for the day we missed. Room's aircon and fans weren't working, but enough free wine will knock you out :)
Great hostel. Diego was a champ, very helpful. The other staff were great as well. Free wine was a winner. Best breakfast in 4 months too. So good. My dorm was right next to the street, so was pretty loud. Windows had to be open as it was really hot and no fans or aircon in the rooms. OK though, earplugs and red wine do a great job. The beds were OK. Cool to have a light and charger point box for every bed. Also lockers which fitted everything.
TheThe staff is helpful, the hostel has a nice patio with garden. BreBreakfast is less than average, the furniture old, thethe beds uncomfortable and the common bathrooms dirty. I expected more quality, seen the reviews...
The stuff was really nice and helpful. The breakfast was amazing!!!
The staff were friendly and able to help with any questions. Location is fantastic and the rooms are huge with plenty of storage. A bit on the quiet side so you need to venture out if you want a bit of a more lively vibe. Other than that a really good hostel.
Super friendly and helpful staff with a safe and convenient location. We loved Mora so much! Staff was always cleaning and working to make everyone's stay the best! The great breakfast on the patio and free wine in the evening were big bonuses! Definitely would stay there again!
I was only at this hostel over night, but was impressed with it immediately. Especially the pitcher of red wine on the table next to the kitchen. The staff was helpful the next day in help me secure a ticket on line to Cordoba before heading to the bus station. With more time, I would like to see more of Mendoza. It seemed like a smaller more accessible town. Next time I guess....
Close to bus station and not too far from main plaza. Pretty secure, free wine from 8-9 was a winner! Lovely outside patio area. Hostal was pretty quiet when I visited and was quite 'couply' but still nice!
Nice place. Good location...The guy in reception super helpful although all staff were good. Great breakfast. Free wine in evenings is a fantastic touch - albeit dangerous for guests :)
The staff is amazing--willing to go above and beyond for guests. I ended up having to go to the hospital at 3 a.m. and Javi, who was on duty, was so helpful and calm that it made a bad situation tolerable. Plus, great breakfasts, a wonderful courtyard and free wine in the evening. What more could you want?
Beautiful breakfast made my the cook each day. Absolute sweetheart. Delicious. Hostel is in a good enough locatio . Beds are a little flimsy and difficult to get up top and bathrooms always run out of toilet paper. Atmosphere is ok but nothing exceptional. Friendly enough staff, but no staff were really that interested in giving advice or helping out much. Meh. 5/10 really. (Note: be careful though in Mendoza as we were robbed at gunpoint and it seems to be common knowledge. No staff warned us)
