The best hostel we've stayed at in the last 6 months. The staff were lovely, they gave us breakfast (they do a fantastic breakfast too) when we arrived before check-in and helped us with info and advice for what to see in Mendoza. The double room was huge with a wall mounted heater and being set on a pretty quiet road we had no problem sleeping. Free empanada cooking lesson, free wine tasting (and free wine in general!) and free washing machine use plus we got to meet plenty of other travellers.

I had a great time staying there. Great atmosphere, great breakfast, a lot of activities offered, free wine glass at night, ... Brilliant!! I'd have stayed longer if i didn't have to move on... Big up to the staff as well, they're really cool, helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Kevin, Gonzalo and Johana!!

Now this is truly an excellent hostel in Mendoza, there are plenty of bathrooms, separate shower areas, very helpful staff. This place has a lot to offer. Plus, they will cook you scrambled eggs EVERY morning for breakfast. Fantastic. Except, not I want it in every hostel and am being bitterly disappointed! Only complaint is the pillows, they are too thin and uncomfortable. But beyond that an awesome hostel.

A hostel with a very nice character, garden and rooms. Breakfast is good; homemade pancakes are offered. The staff is really helpfull and friendly. Especially nice that lots of activities (pizza night, cooking classes etc) are offered.

Excellent breakfast and the free glass of wine in the evening was a nice touch. The empanada lesson was a blast with good level of competition between guests. Pizza night was good with an almost endless supply of fresh pizza cooked at the hostel (not enough numbers to be held at usual location) with free wine. Walking distance to bus terminal which is always a bonus. Free use of a washing machine was amazing (some guests moaned that it was always in use? Err its free!) Big thanks to all staff.

Great location and staff (gonzalo was fantastic on reception!) nice chilled hostel - no problem bringing in your own alcohol, very clean and great garden. Asado is highly recommended!

We loved this hostel so much we stayed longer in mendoza. Staff were really helpful when I had to send a police report to my insurance, and were informative about trips the hostel offered. Breakfast delicious, really clean hostel, and the people i met here were great. Couldn't recommend it highly enough

When we first arrived, we were worried about the apparent lack of cleanliness; however, it seemed that the cleaning person must have just missed a day. During the rest of our stay the cleanliness was better. The atmosphere was great and staff were really helpful. Kevin was great, and so were the the women who cooked breakfast in the morining. They were all smiles and nice - we couldn't wake up to anything better.

The breakfast was really good! The showers weren't always hot, but were powerful (this unavoidably made the floor wet). Beds were fine. There were two rooms for 60, one is in a garage and the outside noise is so loud and the other is a proper room with windows. The garage is not worth 60. Security good, lockers and locked front gate. Wifi was ok, staff were really nice and helpful, making empanadas was brilliant, communal and outside areas were good, it was clean and had a free washing machine!

The best hostel of our entire trip. Very clean and rooms were a decent size. The Breakfast is really good with pancakes made fresh for you and eggs on request, fruit, bread, pastries & Dulce de leche!. They have Empanda classes, wine tasting for free - very very good- its a great way to get to know other people. The BBQ was really good and on time, meat was cooked perfectly. Every evening you get a free glass of wine too!. The staff here were extremely friendly and helpful.

Very nice atmosphere, nice people to meet. Clean rooms. Good location to have a walk in the city, but also close to the bus terminal (10 mins walk, easy to find, get a free map at the terminal). Did not like: hostelworld offered a "deal" with a free pub crawl, but this pub crawl does not exist anymore. Also, the free empanada cooking class was cancelled during my stay. Wifi was offline for one day due to technical problems. The free washing mashine is in use all the time. No dryer.

Really good hostel - the staff are great, the hostel offers some really cheap and excellent excursions (and a glass of free wine everyday!). The wifi works well and the breakfast is amazing! It's also really well situated. Highly recommend it!

Great breakfast, nice out door area and lots of freebies (wifi, computers, washing machine, empinada cooking class) THe activites got people chatting so good to meet others and the rooms were quite big (4/6 bed dorm).

If you want to slerp before 1am, this is challenging. One bed i was given had a mattress that was v shaped, so you sank in middle of bed. German woman at desk was helpful.

Hi, thanks for letting us know your opinion. Although, we have brand new mattress and we change them every 1 year, so far we have not had (except for this) any complains. In any case, we hope you've had a lovely stay in Mendoza!

A really nice stay, staff very friendly and they even let us have breakfast before we officially checked in and leave our bags/use the kitchen on our last day. Nice mix of people and activities too, we tried wine tasting for free on our first night. Our stay here was by far the best thing about being in Mendoza - perhaps the most overrated place we've encountered so far. Once you've done a wine tour and visited the Fundacional museum get out of there quick.
