Brilliant hostel with really friendly staff - good breakfast, and a nice light dinner with beer - really awesome start to a day full of seeing the amazing sights in and around V.T.! Also, staff have a variety of tours of local areas of interest which they organise! Check them out! :)

Hostel mostel in veliko tarnovo is the best of the three (Sofia and Plovdiv). After the incredibly spacious dorm, free pickup from bus station, free sizable lockers, free breakfast and light dinner w/ beer, proper kitchen and amazing staff who were incredibly helpful - I would rate this as one if the better hostels I've stayed in. The only fault I gave was that it was maybe a 5-10 minute walk uphill to local eateries and bars (still practically nothing). Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great team of staff made us feel so welcome and they were so helpful with any questions we asked. Would stay here again and recommend the hostel to other travelers.

Perfect hostel! Located near the Tsarevets fortress, hostel has everything that a hostel can have: very-very-very friendly staff, awesome garden with BBQ, delicious dinner made by staff.. you just must visit it, there's nothing to discuss.

The best hostel network ever! You definitely should stay there. I've tried all three hostels in VT, Plovdiv and Sofia. All is on the highest level. Very cosy and nice place. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you guys for your great work!

This hostel was great the staff were fantastic so friendly that I decided to also book into the hostel mostel in Sofia. In addition to this the hostel is well located, clean, has good facilities and puts on a good breakfast and dinner. I would definitely recommend coming here. The staff make all the difference :)

one of the most beautiful hostels I have stayed at, extremely well kept up, and, the meals were a plus, the staff was excellent, and, the city of Velko Tarnovo was beautiful, the sites and sounds of easter, and and the history of the city, and you could not ask for more in a hostel, the outdoor fireplace, the flowers, the spaciness dorm rooms, and great staff, I truly recommend it to all. sherman - califonria

Loved this hostel although it was really quiet when I was there. That was good as there are not loads of bathrooms and it would have been quite noisy with lots of guests, as the dorms open up off the main communal area. But really friendly helpful staff. Thanks to Todd and Alex!

Easily the best hostel I have ever stayed in, for both the quality and value. The rooms were very nice,the staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the city and surrounding area. The breakfast and delicious dinner included was something that really made this hostel great. The day trip that we took with Alex to the cave, monastery, and mountains was the highlight of my travels in Europe so far. I look forward to coming back to Veliko Tarnovo and staying with you guys again!

Enjoyed spending my days in VT at this cosy place: even "busy" off-season:) We were picked up at the train station, always someone around to help you out with questions and lots of things to do in town - definitely will be back someday!

I would give this hostel 110% rating, if I could. Alex and Randy made me feel at home immediately, which made traveling in the off season more comfortable. They made dinner for us each night and were really helpful in planning day-to-day activities. The hostel is a bit difficult to find at first, but they offer free pick up service from the train/bus station which is amazing. I would highly recommend this hostel to any and all who are interested in visiting Bulgaria.

I can say only good things about the hostel and the staff. Def the best hostel in Bulgaria.
