One of the best hostels that I have stayed in! Hostel is very clean and spacious with extremely helpful staff and excellent breakfast. The room was bigger than average hotel rooms and the facilities were in perfect condition. For future visits in Sofia Hostel Mostel will be the choice for me!

Excellent breakfast, excessing amounts of noshing from all you can eat... cereals, yoghurt, fruits and salad veg and salami, toast. Stayed in the private rooms 2 doors down that were fab, huge rooms and very comfortable. Only downside was the bed was a bit springy and uncomfortable if your a skinny boy like me.

One of the best hostels I have stayed in so far. I stayed in a single room, which is located in an apartment 3mins walk from the hostel itself. I had a massive room for myself, a double bed, and a heather. The place has a kitchen and shower facilities. All very clean and well maintained. Mornings and evenings I was spending in the main hall with other guests, as the breakfast and dinner were served there. The staff friendly and helpful. Great buzz there. And very central location.

That's the best hostel I've ever seen for value for money. Cheap, perfect location, you have a great breakfast, and the evening, you also have for free pasta ! I think it's really a nice idea I also like that, in spite of the size (it's a big hostel !), it still has a character. I stayed in a private room in a flat close to the hostel. Quiet, clean, safe, big... Perfect !

The best place I stayed in Sofia so far (and I stayed in a couple of places). I was in a single room in an other building, very close to the main building/reception. It's a wonderful apartment with a homy feel. The room was PERFECT, for this prize really you'll be surprised! Staff was very helpful and super kind. 100% best choice, believe me!

This hostel is a good value for the money. A very friendly and helpful staff. My room was simpel but good enough. The hostel is situated near to the center. Everything is at walking distance. They are organizing trips to the famous Rila Monastery.

One of the best greetings I've ever had from a hostel. Extremely friendly, great lobby for meeting people and hanging out, clean rooms, and not a huge party hostel. Definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Sofia.

The staff is really nice and helpfull. We had a wonderful stay. Excellent value for money. You can use all of the facilities after the check out. The location is great. The breakfast with the free pasta and beer in the evening is worth to do it. If you go in Sofia, stay in Hostel Mostel :)

Hostel Mostel was great and I would definitely recommend to all! They provide free breakfast and free dinner, which is pretty much unheard of. They a good Rila Monastery tour as well, that gives you a little extra and takes you up to a cave. The driver is very nice!. The common room is a great place to make friends and is always open. Bathrooms are clean and staff is very helpful. Would stay again!

Excellent value for money , breakfast AND spagguetti + beer for dinner included , which was very nice for saving money. Staff helpful, nice tours from the hostel. Only little thing, but i didnt feel very safe nearby in the dark. might be because it was winter and i was travelling by myself. , but its pretty simple to get around downtown,

This is likely the best value in Sofia; excellent kitchen facilities, clean washrooms - shower pressure is amazing, blazing wi-fi, comfy beds; and courteous, helpful staff with excellent music taste, Though this hostel is pretty large, and at times can seem impersonal, it is perfect for groups, or if you simply just want to wander off and do your own thing. Top notch all around.

There are two different buildings that are less than a block from each other. We stayed in the one which is seperate to reception and main common area but this was fine. The girl that checked us in was great and gave us lots of information about Sofia and Bansko where we were going skiing for the next week. The common area is well laid out and a really good place for relaxing on the couches. Don't be fooled by the steel gate and lack of signs when you get there, there is a nice building behind..

This hostel is very good, the staff were very helpful and friendly, I've stayed in a private room, which is in another building, two minutes walking from the main one. The room was spacious and very clean. It was very good staying there and I would definitely recommend this hostel to some friends visiting Sofia in the future.

Cleanest hostel I've ever stayed at. Cheapest, too! Breakfast is just OK but the dinner option is a great asset. Any travelers coming through Easter Europe are going to be openminded and friendly and looking for adventure, so no worries making friends. The day trip to Rila Monastery and free walking tour are a must! I kept changing my mind about nights to stay and the staff had no problem. called Hostel Mostel Plovdiv and booked my room for me in about 3 seconds.
