This is a really fun hostel to stay at, I really enjoyed my 4 nights there, met some great people, was sad to leave!

I had a great stay! The hostel has a very fun atmosphere and a nice rooftop bar. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is good security (key card access and in room lockers). All around a great hostel. There is no internet whatsoever (they tried a fix, but really need to pay for more bandwidth and better equipment), but I believe they have computers if you really need it or you can walk a few steps to the zocalo and get free Wi-Fi once a day. It was good for socializing actually

The hostel has a great location with a beautiful view from on the cathedral. Rooms are tidy, spacious and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The facilities weren't that great though. The washing machine has been broken during my staff and wifi wasn't available.

Thanks for your comment! We try to offer as much as possible to our guests, free water on every floor, free coffy, free breakfast, free walking tours, restaurant, bar, spa, etc. I'm sorry to hear that you got the broken washing mashine, we have paid for the repair and it should be fixed very soon.

Great location, the private rooms are quite small but very comfy. The man at the kitchen is a bit embittered and has a non smile face. The hostel becomes noisy at moments. Overall is a great place to stay if you want to enjoy the old town of Mexico city

Amazing backpacker atmosphere in an incredible location. If you're looking for a quiet place to sleep and a good wifi connection, this isn't it, but if you want to meet great people to enjoy your time in Mexico city look no further! A huge thanks for Denisse and Andres for going the extra mile to make the stay so enjoyable! Fantastic staff!

Overall a reasonable stay. Beds were clean are shared bathroom was nice. The hostel is very noisey, its like if anyone has a shower the whole 6 floors will be able to hear it due to the piled upon layout of the hostel. The location is very good. The "legendary" roof top bar stopped serving us at 10... WIFI wouldnt work in any of the rooms and was rubbish downstairs. Also the laundary was out of wack. Made for a very long laundrette hunt. Dont expect anything more than a convienient kip.

Hi! Thanks for your comment! Sorry about the layout of the building.. one of the prices we pay for being in this privileged spot. Sorry to hear the bar closed that early. We only close early (at midnight) on sundays. The laundry is now being fixed, but we could have easily guided you to the nearest launderette. Hope you come back soon!

The staff are a real credit to this hostel, super friendly and helpful. Beds had lights and plugs, although wifi was temperamental. Breakfast was one of the best we've seen in a hostel and the roof has a great view over the city. Laundry wasn't working when we were here but we were directed to a close by launderette. Good atmosphere as it is a big hostel

This has to be, by far, the best hostel I've ever been. Everyone is kindand willing to help. The tours are amazing! Especial the guide, Andres, always doing his best to make everyone feel comfortable. I think the tours were the highlight.

Yess we love you. Thanks! I'll let Andres know that he has one more fan. Come back soon!

A bit dissapointing that they have a standard check in hour, but not much flexibility, but I guess rules are rules, and maybe I have been spoiled by staying in some other more flexible hostels, I was lucky with the elevator, while checking in and out (5th floor) it was working, but not during my stay, it happens, decent breakfast, some of the staff especially the girl taking us to the markets incredible: thank you! great person to make your stay worth while

Lots of activities and a great social hostel where it is easy to meet other travelers. The internet doesn't work, which also probably forces you to be more social! Rooftop bar was great!

haha! Great! You seem like the exemplary backpacker. Please come back soon!

Overall not a bad hostel, but a few things let it down. It's six stories tall and the elevator was broken the whole time. When you want a beer at the end of a long day but have to walk up six flights of stairs to get to the bar, it's not ideal. Worst Wi-Fi I've ever experienced at a hostel, but I guess that made everyone more sociable, so not entirely bad. They also hosted random local parties at the rooftop bar most nights which made everyone feel awkward going to the bar that we paid to use

Hey! Happy to hear your view on the WiFi :) And the elevator has now been fixed. Come back soon!

I read reviews prior to booking that the wifi was terrible and they were not wrong. The wifi was virtually non-existent and numerous times it was easier just stepping out and connecting near the zocolo square to get the free public wifi since the computers were always busy. The staff at reception do not engage you but when you ask them for help they solve your issues. The Guides Denise and Andres were excellent and gave us great insider knowledge. Other than the wifi, it was a solid hostel.

The cleanliness of the bathrooms were sometimes questionable with the showers clogging up. I could hear every single step and a lot of doors slammed. Other than that great hostel with friendly people!

The only things that i didn't like was the music staff played during breakfast. They should play something low key, Mexico has a lot of soft/pop artist for a good quiet morning breakfast, please no house, or reggaton in the mornings. Staff is nice. I like that they have Free walking tours and night/or evening activities. I would definitely visit again.

Great hostel. Good location right in the historic Center. The hostel runs different tours which were great. We did the pyramids and Lucha Libre which was awesome! They do free walking tours around the city too every afternoon. Nice rooftop bar. I stayed in a private dorm and it was good. I would stay here again
