I spent the most delightful couple of days in this hostel. It's a beautiful traditional building in really lovely neighbourhood. The staff were just wonderful - Midori became a true friend, it was so good talking to her in the evenings, she shared so much about Japanese culture. Will definitely be staying there again.
Toilet n bathroom are too small. The direction from Osaka is very unclear. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.
I really recommend this hostel! The people are so nice and helpful! This hostel has two sleeping rooms and looks like a typical japanese house :) It is very clean with enough toiletts, one shower/bathroom and one living room.
The hostel is very nice. It is inside a traditional Japanese House. The staff is awesome, we had a great time there.
Hostel Mundo was a wonderful hostel with great staff who were very helpful and had events for almost every night I was there. I was able to meet lots of people, rent bikes to go around and see Kyoto, and I felt very welcome on my trip. Lights were our by 11pm, so I always felt like I was able to sleep before going out the next day. Great stay, overall. I'd definitely recommend this place. =) It's a little hard to find at first, so make sure to ask for detailed instructions.
My second time staying here. Fantastic people and always a pleasure to stay with them. I miss it already.

This Hostel was the best one I've ever stayed at. It felt like home being there and I made many new friends. The building is Japanese style, so everything is very small, but I loved it. I will definitely go back there again, and if it was just to meet the staff members one more time, who I already miss. Thanks for everything. :)
