great staff and atmosphere. A ton of us hung out on the front porch every night. Location was fine. About a 10 minute walk to town. Safe walk. Very clean hostel. There are only 2 bathrooms and 2 showers although I didnt have a problem at all and I was there 5 nights.

Very good hostel. A little bit far of the center but Calafate is very small, so it's relative :)

They were really helpful and assisting us in organizing trips even before we arrived! Tha asado was delicious even for me as a vegetarian :) The athmosphere was really relaxing and the veranda enjoyable! Okay, we had one of the calmest and sunniest days without patagonian wind :)

Excellent. Very recommended. The stuff is great and very helpful.

clean, good breakfast, good wifi, great staff

A nice hostel in a good location. The private room was spacious and provided towels. Staff we're friendly but not always that helpful with transport information. The breakfast room / shared kitchen was nice.

This place was ok at best. I think its great for folks looking for a cool young hostel, and a dorm situation. It was fine in that regard. We are a couple in our 30's and got a private room that was literally next to the reception, and it was really noisy. Also breakfast was bread. No protein. Also, totally normal for a hostel, but another place we stayed at down the road was the same price, and just way better if you are a bit more picky (like Im starting to be in my older non-single years!)

A great hostel with a great staff. Nacho and Fede are very friendly and very helpful. ¡Salud!

Terrific staff! Personable and helpful, even before I got there. Nice breakfast area, and giod rolls as well.

Not a bad hostel, but not much of a hangout spot. Wi-fi didn't work when we were there and the beds creaked a lot, but it was a clean enough spot to spend a night without many worries.

The hostel and the atmosfere was great..also the staff A little far from the center but in a nice area..

Very good hostel. Stayed here for 3 nights. Excellent staff and very helpful. Definitely would recommend this hostel.

Very relax atmosphere with good Bob Marley / Hendricks music on background . Nice kitchen with barbecue place. A little far away from the bus station - maybe 15 minutes walking, but it worths because it is on the top of a hill with nice view.

Nakel Yenu is most likely one of the best Hostels I've been in all my life! The staff is great: everyone is extremely helpful and willing to help and give advice about the area. Should you stay there I highly recommend you to book their day trip to Perito Moreno - which, even though it's slightly more pricey than the other excursions, it's really off the beaten track. The atmosphere is like a family. Cleanliness is great. And it's located not more than 10 minutes walk from the main street.

Lovely hostel with an excellent kitchen and dining room to cook and socialise in. We enjoyed the breakfast too, which was slightly better than the average hostel breakfast due to presentation and caring staff (I know this completely different opinion to other reviewer!). Staff were really nice, showers were hot and we met some friendly guests there. Would recommend.

all of the staph members are really helpul and nice, a little bit of spanish goes a long way with the night staffer but no complaints would definitely stay here again

This hostel has potential but they need to address a few things: the wifi....poor if any connection, one working electricity socket per 6 bed dorm is not enough

Lovely house. Great staff. Nice common areas. Kitchen a little small but otherwise great.

We stayed here for a few nights because we came to see the Perito Moreno glacier and it seemed like a good option for the money. The location is not central - it's about a ten minute walk from the main strip with the restaurants and the bus station. Breakfast was just toast, the common area was not very big or welcoming and the wifi was weak and in and out most of the time. They were helpful in arranging our tour and transfer to the airport, though it was 30 minutes late.

The hostel was very welcoming and friendly! The living room was great to just relax in after a day of tours and treking, and also great to meet people. Staff were very helpful and also made us aware of great deals they had for tours.
