Staff have no clue of what's going on, checked in to a ten bed dorm for two of us with only one bed available so he sat me on someone else's bed and when he showed up I had to go find reception who claimed it was 'impossible' for this too happen. It is 20 mins by train to the actual city and there is absolutely nothing around this hostel...Id try somewhere where the security code isn't a grade one code to get in.

Great place, great people, had great time. Thanks for explaining the public transport you saved me loads although the savings were quickly spent at Oktoberfest.

The room was probabaly meant for only 6 people, but the hostel decided to put two additional beds in the room, so there was NO space for any suitcases. The bathroom smelled of mould. People were still checking in at 2am in the night and weren't welcomed by staff, but merely found an enveleope with keys at the door; which i would NOT call secure. The hostel was about half an hour from the city center, but public transportation was good. Very bad for that high price! Never again!

We were only here for 2 nights for October Fest, but the 10 bed room was surprisingly spacious. A little bit outside of Munich but it's a really peaceful neighbor hood. facilities were really nice and staff were kind and helpful. A bit of a ride to the city center but other than that, great!

Was happy with the hostel, but the price was inflated due to Octoberfest - €50 to share a single full room full with 8 bunk beds is a bit much IMHO, but probably normal for the time we went. I would definitely stay there again as was perfect for our needs.

Very good hostel, good staff, clean, safe and helpful.

Great palatial place. Pricey, but the price is justified by free bread and milk access 24/7, great kitchen facilities, shower and toilet ensuite, lockers (bring own lock), and just a nice aesthetic. The staff were nice to me, and understanding. The location is way out of the way though. Not close to anything, so you have to take the overground train a long while to even get to the city. The main problem was the price. I would only do one night max for a quiet chill night in luxury.

It was a really worse hostel than I had never been...

We had a reservation for 2 in a mixed dorm for 8 people. Upon our arrival, the receptionist offered us a double room as there were spare double rooms during our stay. We were sure very delighted and had a very pleasant stay at the cosy & clean hostel.

Weird staff, terrible location (20 min from Hackerbrücke, and if you lose a train, you may need to wait almost 40 minutes), 5 euro tickets to get there, and still quite far from the station. They also charged me 50 euros in advance, which I got back at the check out, after proving that I didn't mess up the room, because of the OktoberFest.

Very bad Wi-Fi, despite the fact that it is very important

The hostel is really far from Munich city center and there's no one from the staff after 10 p.m. We have to say that the staff that did our check in was really nice. The wifi connection is really poor, just in the entrance and there's nowhere to sit while you're there. Also the lights there are automatic and they turn off every 2 minutes. The kitchen is a plus though. We could cook what we needed, but the food from the gas station (really expensive!).

On our website are the check in times these are of 17.00 bis 21.00 clock. The Wifi funktuniert ground floor properly, there are also chairs and benches to sit there. The shopping markets close as across Germany also at 20.00 clock.

it's quite far away from Munich center, but public transport was always available (at least on weekends). Great service! Thank you again for the information about the city you provided to me and the free breakfast!

Everything is good but this hostel located out of the zone of inner munich so the single S bahn ticket costs me 5.20 euro! but if you are travelling with many people then you can buy a group day ticket. It will be much more cheaper if 5 people travel together.

-Security: Front door to the hostel is open almost 24/7, anyone can walk in, no keys for the rooms just key codes as simple as 123456. Just 4 lockers for 10 people! -Location is not 10minutes from the train station, maybe if you jog. Good location if you come by car. Takes 40mins to get into Münich Central w/ train -Staff was okay -Note that bed linens are NOT included and cost 2.50€ extra/ person! -No soap in the bathrooms, not even for hands -The ensuite smelled bad + Breakfast =ok

The main entrance is locked at night and can only be opened with pin. There are only 3 minutes walk away and then about 15 min to the center of Munich to the bus. The rooms have 10 lockers are lockable. The Pin's be assigned by the computer randomly system, you have to get lucky just pin 123456. Of course, each guest of that day in this room also sleeps the same pin, unless he departs on a different day.

the staff was really very friendly and im sure gonna come back stay there if i return

We were 3 people travelling there and after the 1st night out of 3, all our own towels disappeared with the hostel's sheet. The staff of the hostel said that the other roomates stold them, but we still have the doubt that the cleaning staff just took them. Otherwise, the guy who welcomed us was really nice and explained us everything we had to know about Munich.

Free parking, but location was not convenient at all. Also, HORRIBLE check-in time. VERY late in the day and the location makes it a PAIN if you want to see much of Munich on your first day.

Staff was extremely poor. We were yelled at and cursed at by the night manager because a girl in our group took an extra 3 seconds to get her key card out to show him that she was staying there. Then when we complained the next money the staff was disinterested and did absolutely nothing about it. Other than the staff it is a decent hostel. Free breakfast was good and showers were good as well. Wifi is only in the main building though were you aren't staying so wifi in your room is impossible.

Clean, have nothing to say about that aspect. Just a really cold experience overall, had to pay for so many extras, no help with anything AND really far away from the city
