We really liked our stay at the hostel. The location is great (just across the road from the terminal), the hostel was clean, the staff were really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great. The only complaint was the bathroom situation. We had the private room, but the only showers are downstairs through the dorm, which was a bit of an inconvenience.
Staying at this hostel improved our experience of our stay in Iguazu. It provides a relaxed sociable atmosphere. Alberto the new staff member is amazing, very friendly and incredibly helpful. He went out of his way to set us up with a tour that could take us to Brazil and to the airport on time for a very good rate. The pool has a funny green colour but I swam in it and was fine (although I did not put my head under). They have just started doing tango nights with a very good teacher.
The employees are always keeping the place clean and even though it looks a bit old it is still a nice place to stay. Location is fantastic as it is right in the front of the bus terminal and closed to bars and restaurant and the great local market. It would be great if they could renew the kitchen and leave a space for the guess to cook their own food like in a normal hostel. But it is great because they serve you breakfast every morning for free!
Great location, almost in front of bus station, and main shop&bar street but still very, very quiet. Nice garden and breakfast, friendly staff. Could use lockers. Rooms could be updated, but it's still OK. Nice garden to chill out, better to stay on Argentinian side than Brazilian, as it has great vibe.
we were in low season, the pool was not full and dirty , although advertised on the side of the road as free...
Lovely hostel and outdoor area. Kitchen very limiting. Staff do not speak any English which makes it hard for those with little Spanish.
Don't stay there in winter time, because it's freezing cold and they don't have any heaters. You have to eat outside, even it is just 5 degrees. Probably, this place is nicer when it's warm. When we where there, the pool was empty and the bar was closed, even there was about 30 degrees a couple days ago. It is not a place for backpackers, no nice common romm (indoor), small kitchen with "staff only signs" everywhere. The staff is very noisy in the morning and the WiFi didn't work fine.
Great location opposite the bus station, however - mediocre room, felt very unsafe because there was a giant gap more than big enough for a human being above our door, next to the door there was a ledge you could stand on and easily climb in through. The bar wasn't open, the pool was cordoned off with red and white tape and the garden looked like a building site. The breakfast and shower was its only saving grace - don't bother.

Great location, really close to transport to the falls. Swimming pool has no water, but I'm guessing that's because it was winter when we stayed. Backyard/bar area is really nice!
mostly good. However the noise on the saturday night was simply awful. The bedrooms are separated from the living area by a simple door. I could hear the DVD player full blast, people talking loudly, and at one point a hi fi system. I was going mad, having slept for the two previous nights on a plane and on a bus. You can't change the location of the bedrooms but you could implement regulations demanding silence after 10 at night? Just a suggestion.
