Franklin is a hero. Really nice place, we had the private room and had a small balcony with a hammock - clean and well kept. Only stayed the one night to wait for bus but close to beach

Poor atmosphere, difficult to meet people, uninterested staff, no breakfast, good location.

Basic hostel. Air conditioned bedrooms. Relatively clean showers and toilets. Free wifi.

The hostel was charging twice as much as the one next door, at about the same standard. We eventually moved up the road to one with breakfast and a pool for the same price. I'd booked 5 nights, stayed 1 - we gave 24 hours notice and paid the first night owing (-deposit). The owner said that we needed to pay more as hostel world took the initial 10%. We eventually gave him more money, but were unsure about this requirement. Hostel world weren't answering the phones...I think we were ripped off.

Dirty, hot, cramped. Frank on reception was a lovely chap but this Hostel is not any cheaper than the much better accommodation others will offer. The showers are cold the floor was sandy the entire time, there was nowhere to meet people, there was no breakfast, not even remotely enough plugs for charging, the kitchen was a state we didn't even bother trying to use it and there was little to no room for bags. I feel bad because I liked the guys there but this place was no good. Good Location!

The staff was worthless. We changed hostel after 2 night to a hostels next door. The "Lighthouse" offered much better value for money and the atmosphere is a lot better.

Excellent location, good space and extremely friendly staff. One thing they could improve is the cleanliness of the bathroom. Since they are all shared, the staff should always walk around twice or three time during the day to check everything is ok. Bathroom could be better. Other than that, a more than good (almost excellent) hostel.
