Î was so suprise to see the place that we were going to sleep was a regular backpackers place, almost like â shared flat, very friendly but not what we were looking for on this occasion. However, the guy that was owner of that place was so helpful. He didnt charge us and instead drove us to his friend's hotel that was much cleaner than other and had â more private room .Î recommend people to go either depending on what you are looking for. The other hostel was Hostel Podgorica.
Absolutely no problems, unless you're fussy about minor issues (in which case, don't go to Montenegro), extremely knowledgeable host fluent in English (and other languages) with lots of recommendations for Podgorica and Montenegro. Can't wait to go back!

Friendly little place which is more like staying at a mates house. The owner Backo makes the hostel what it is. He is a great host, and a top bloke. Cheers!

Great little Hostel! Owner is great and helped with airport transport very cheaply. in a lovely local area with lovely outside space surrounded by fruit trees.
The owner is a very good, hospitable and friendly man ! He will do everything in order to you enjoy staying in the hostel. But, it's not enough, the hostel leaves much more to be desired. Value for money is adequate. P.S. It was cold at night in the room, and there was no opportunies to make it warmer.
small and great hostel. the owner is awesome and super helpful
Nice? No, wonderful. Perfect little hostel on the edge of the city centre, a few metres west of the stadium. Well equipped kitchen. There is a comfy sofa and a coffee table - ideal for those strong coffees - in a delightful, communal garden of a small square of one storey buildings. Owner Backo (say 'Bach-ko') is an excellent host - we learned so much about Montenegro from him. Plus he gave us a lift to the airport for 5 euros, showing us some beautiful places on the way.
The owner was the best thing about the place, don't have anything bad to say about him. Same can't be said about the place. The area isn't the greatest, the main door into the hostel couldn't be locked from the outside, the door to our room wasn't very secure, could easily be opened with a little bit of force. The walls around the bath had mould on it. We stayed in the double room which was very small, literally had no space to move and the door caught the bed as you opened and closed it.
Thanks for everything buddy! We need to go to Montenegro again!
