Not a bad hostel to stay in, especially for the money you pay. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, but the dorms are just mattresses on the floor with mosquito nets. I didn't mind, but some might. The breakfast wasn't free, but it was cheap and good. The only complaint I have is that they offered free laundry which is great, but when I got my laundry back it wasn't clean at all. If you say you are going to do something than do it right. Also the owner is nice, but he will talk your ear off.

great place. would def stay here again. Robert is a beast. I don't know how he gets everything done that he does. incredibly helpful and nice guy. you get 2 kilos of free laundry if you stay at least 2 nights. SO awesome. finished quickly as well. breakfasts are decent and cheap. the location is very convenient and the beds are comfortable. lots of bathrooms and showers so there's always one available. I would stay here again in a heart beat. thanks for all the help and the great stay Phnom Penh

thanks for the lovely review and we're glad you had a nice stay. Oh, and the secret to getting everything done is having good staff and looking after them well.

Great hostel with great location, within walking distance of riverside and multiple markets. Basic dorms with a mattress on the floor, but good nonetheless. No hot water, but the free laundry is a big bonus.

Staff was a little odd. They bickered back and forth frequently which was awkward and lectured guests. They over booked as well. Facilities were ok, simple cots on the floor and non heated showers. Area felt a tad sketchy. Do not go to the Brit dr owner recommends, he was SO rude. Onky perk is that the hostel is by the River and they arrange tuk tuk tours

Comfy stay in Phnom Penh. Robert is very helpful with info and will do his best to accommodate everyone. No complaints, a well run place in a handy spot.

We were upgraded for free to the 6 bed air con room with was a lot quieter and safer than the 8 bed dorm (in the 8 bed dorm you sleep on matresses on the floor

Very serviceable and clean hostel in Phnom Penh. British owner/manager very helpful with sending good directions and a map when you book a room, and it's easy walking distance from the bus station/central market. NB, the bigger dorm room has a window, but the smaller one doesn't. Bathroom cold water only but clean, and lockers seem sturdy. Lobby has a very helpful set of posters with prices one should pay for transit around town, and owner helpful in flagging down tuktuks.

Nice and cheap hostel. Free laundry, friendly staff, good location. Cheap dorms too.

Great place, owner is very knowledgeable and will tell you all he knows, including tips on safety, which ATMs are free, where to eat... Not the most social hostel I've stayed in but it was nice enough. They do serve cheap breakfasts, but my scrambled eggs were a bit overcooked... but then others may prefer them that way so it's just a minor detail! The rest of our stay was fab!

GREAT place! One of the best deals I've found anywhere; the free laundry service was especially appreciated. The couple that runs it are wonderful - two of the friendliest hostel owners I've ever met, and more than willing to help you out and give you advice. I really felt taken care of by them. Very social atmosphere too - as a solo traveler, I met more people here than anywhere else. The owners also take good care of their employees. All in all, loved this place, and would definitely return!

Robert, the manager and wife were most helpful in every way. Secure lockers fro valuables.

The manager was quite rude and negative in his comments generally, maybe he was having a bad day?. It wasn't an overly welcoming place to stay and the facilities were basic.

I'm puzzled! Where was the friendly, helpful and enthusiastic owner mentioned in many reviews since we took over Nomads?? I've got the best job in the world running a hostel and in one of the friendliest countries in the world... whats there to be sad about? :)

Suburb hostel, very clean, brilliant location and owners cant do enough to help. took us out on eating experience and well recommended. Owner full of advice about everything in Cambodia. Not one negative to say. The only place to stay

Great hostel in Phnom Penh,. You don't need a lot of time in Phnom Penh but if you do go there's this is the place to stay. It's clean, safe and the owner (Robert I believe his name was) is very honest and helpful! The staff will help you book buses around Cambodia and help with any advice you need about Cambodia. Tuk tuks outside the hostel offer good rate thanks to the owner. Only downside is that there is only wifi in the lobby, but that's not a big deal.

Staff was very helpful, friendly and honest. It easy to meet people in the common area downstairs and the place is very clean. I can really recommend staying there when you are in Phnom Penh.

It is located in the quiet part of center. It has nice, new and clean tile floor. It provide free hand wash laundry. Owners are friendly and helpful. I stayed in 6 beddorm with air con. Bunk bed make little noise when someone moved in the bed. There is no window. It is good value overall.

Awesome place to stay. Owner is indeed very chatty but only with useful good information. He actively tries to combine people willing to visit the killing fields to save on costs. Superb job. Very easy and flexible with payments. The free 2 kg laundry is awesome. Haven't seen this anywhere before. Gets cleaner than with most other paid laundry too. Good wifi and clean rooms. No curfew, security guard at night and free lockers with padlock and electricity inside. Genious.

Perfect place to stay. Close to lots of things, has a couple of tuktuk drivers in front that ask decent prices. Also has bustickets, not the cheapest, but as Robert will tell you, they are reliable. Robert will help you with any information about everything wether you want it or not Went back there after SHV, cause it has comfi beds, good showers, good wifi, good location

Helpful staff, aircon and clean beds in the dorms. The tuk-tuk drivers they knew were really good. Only downside was all the mosquitos in the common area.

beautiful balcony!! and amazingly comfortable matresses in the floor: perfect, that everybody has its own fan huge moscito net!! staff couple is very cute!! awesome breakfast.
