Owner is very friendly and enjoys a chat. There was no air con in the room but owner says that is about to change. Location is convenient for the riverfront.
Friendly manager and owners, however unpractical . There are only two bathrooms for the entire hostel, located outside the dorms . To make things worse , the toilets are also inside , so it means that there is a constant queue to use them. Cold shower. There are no beds , only mattresses on the floor. There is no air condition, but individual fans for each mattress . There is not much space to move around the dorm room as all the matresses are on the floor. On the plus side , it's central.
Nice place! Quite cheap! I met a lot of nice people there! And there is free laundry!
Backpacker not flashpacker. Easy walking to pretty much where ever you need in town. The best part of the hostel are the owners. Very enthusiastic and helpful. They will not lead you astray and will make you PP and Cambodia stay easier. Stay in the AC Dorm if you can. Much cooler!!!
Nomads is a very nice place and Rob the owner is extremely helpful, if a bit over chatty. He is eager to help any passing soul and makes an effort to assist in any way possible (mostly with words, but words are usually what us backpackers need). The place is also clean and tidy and has the most convenient check-out policy I've ever seen. It is a very good hostel and had the potential to be a great one. Defiantly the best value for money around,
We booked a triple private room, but we received three beds in a mixed dormitory. Not very happy about that. No hot water in the shower either. For the same price, I am sure you can get much more.
The free laundry is great Easy to organise onward travel through hostel
Good value. Owners know what there talking about. Will help you make most of of your stay
Nice hostel in the centre of Phnom Penh. Loved the free laundry!
The dorm rooms are nice and kept really clean. Free laundry is provided and the staff here are great they were happy to help you organise trips to the killing fields and other places and gave out great advice.
Very nice stay, staff very helpful nice clean rooms. would stay again
This place is run by an English guy, Robert, and his Khmer wife, both super friendly and having high energy to help you with all your questions. The common area offers a couple of comfy benches and is good to meet other travellers for a chat or getting company for a day trip. Toilet facilities are pretty basic and there is apparently only two of them, it is likely you have to wait. If you have a weak stomach, better stay at a place where toilets are more accessible
Not everyone's cup of tea, but it was mine! Friendly, comfortable and well located. Suggestions for improvement would be to employ some additional staff for reception and kitchen as it frequently seemed quite stretched.
Pretty standard hostel conditions, nothing special but accommodation was dirt cheap which was great
Overall a solid hostel. I liked the tipps & tricks on Cambodia the owner was giving out. Also the breakfast is nice (you have to pay extra though). Location is alright, too. Only downside was that the hostel at times looked a little run down (not terrible, but could use a new paint job, new beds and/or lockers).
The location is fine, walking distance from the royal palace and bar streets. The dorm rooms are pretty basic, just a room with mattresses on the floor but they are at least clean and you get a fan and mosquito net. Robert the manager is very helpful and knowledgeable if slightly eccentric.
This place is pretty simple. You get what you pay for. The guy who owns it is pretty chatty, but everything he says is spot on and good info to have. The location is great, just a few minutes walk to night market and river. The room is just a bunch of mattresses on the floor, but they are comfortable, and with a personal fan. Plus, you're not stuck with a top bunk. I'd stay there again. And it was cheap.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The place is clean and I met a lot of really friendly fellow travellers. More importantly, Rob and Nari are excellent managers - they're extremely helpful and will go out of their way to assist you where they can. When my iPhone was stolen in a club, they helped me navigate the confusing and convoluted Cambodian justice system. Stay at Nomads if you want fantastic service! I'm pretty sure no other hostel manager will be as friendly or as helpful as they are!
Robert is extremely helpful, he made extra room in the 3-bed a/c and bumped me up, just so that he could make space in another room for these two girls who couldn't find a place to stay. Very thoughtful! Great service, so easy to meet people here. Clean, plug sockets in lockers, individual fans in the big dorm. I would definitely stay here again.

It may look a bit rough around the edges - but that is because it has recently been taken over by Robert who is doing a great job. It has everything you want and is in a great location (right beside the riverside). The staff are very helpful and will answer every question you have. Breakfasts were nice and cheap. Their tuk tuk tours were good value. Thoroughly recommend this place!
