Our stay at this Hostel was perfect, we really enjoyed it very much. Location was perfect because neighborhood was really beautiful and It was not near downtown (noisy place). Lots of Buses and Taxis around. Breakfast was ok. All kind of stores and supermarkets near. Helpful Staff. I absolutely recommend this place.

Our room´s floor was filthy and there was no housekeeping during our stay. NO hot water. The father/owner was pleasant but did not speak much english; daughter was aloof and unhelpful. Place is far from downtown so it was quiet at night. The pool was a nice diversion though since Guayaquil had not much to offer but the Parque de las Iguanas, the Malecon and a dangerous vibe. (There was a mix up with the room - we reserve twin, not double -and daughter tried to blame HostelWorld.)

The nicest hostel I've been to in South America, ran by the nicest people, who are so helpful. I arrived with an sun-injured foot, and ended up staying over week, as it is an ideal place to convalesce. One of the owners even gave me an ointment for my foot, which was very appreciated ! Clean bathrooms and linen, great swimming pool, and superb breakfast with fresh coffee & beautiful fruit juice, toast & scrambled egg. Nice vibe, I met some great people there. Also in a very safe area. : )
