Hostel One Paralelo is really fantastic. I liked everything, the cleaning, helpful staff and, of course the courtyard where is really easy to meet people.

Stop looking at other hostels and book here. This is an awesome hostel. The staff gave us excellent advice, and the hostel has a really good vibe. The dinners are so good, and a great way to meet people before heading out for the best cocktails. The staff make this place a fun and friendly.

Awesome hostel. Group dinner every night if you want to join and über friendly staff. Will help you with everything. Nice and clean only issue is to get to rooms 4 & 5 you need to walk through 3 which was a bit weird. I suppose if u wear ear plugs it would be fine. Everyone was really courteous so that helps. Location not as close as I would like but still within a close walking distance. Great for solo traveller.

Amazing Hostel, the staff is what makes this place so fantastic. Anything you need or any questions you have they are always there to help. Angel, Valerio, John, thank you guys so much for the hospitality.

The staff and the hostel's pro-activity to bring guests together is what made my stay at Hostel One Paralelo highly enjoyable. John an Angel were particularly fantastic. For me the value of the free dinner is not in the meal itself but the fact it brings everyone together in a fun party like atmosphere. Despite not using the walking tour, I see the walking tour and organising group nights out as a real advantage of staying with Hostel One Paralelo.

This place was UNREAL hands down made my barcelona experience, staff was awesome the dinner was delicious and the terrace was beautiful. Great environment everyone hung out together and was really down to earth and relaxing, will definitely be returning!.

Great Atmosphere, Great People, Great Times

All the staff at the hostel were amazing and made everyone feel really welcome. Loved every minute of my stay and will definitely call back if I go to Barcelona again. Thanks alot.

This Hostel represents what a true hostel must be: clean, safe, loads of character, excellent staff, excellent location at an affordable price! If I have to go back to Barcelona, I won't have any doubts about where I'll be staying. Angel, João an Valerio, you guys rock! Thanks for your contribute to making our stay perfect! Plus the evening free diners are just amazing helping to create a laid back kind of "family" atmosphere! 100%. Keep on the good work! :)

This hostel made me feel sooo comfortable and so at home which is important for a lone female traveler like myself. The staff at this hostel, particularly VALERIO and JOAO make it as successful as it is. Upon my arrival Valerio and his dog Serena warmly welcomed me and made me feel like we were old friends! Additionally, Joao's free nightly dinners were amazing and encouraged all the guests to meet and chat....I had no problems making friends! I would definitely stay here again without a doubt!

The best hostel ever.. very great staff, Joao explain everything you need know and even cook for us...! very good location and access to metro! I highly recommend this hostel if you want to have a nice trio!

Felt like family there.

Valerio and the staff were absolutely fantastic. By far the most enjoyable hostel stay we've had in Europe thus far. We arrived late one night, tired and hungry, and Valerio made sure we ate a full meal and made us feel right at home. You will not regret choosing this hostel.

Very cool staff, free dinners prepared daily, very nice atmosphere and it's easy to meet new people there!

My wife and stayed here only for one night and were blown away, especially by the staff. One of the guys there--Angel--was nothing short of remarkable. He welcomed us in like a family member, made dinner for us (a custom, apparently, that one of the staff does every Monday night), and made sure we knew how to get places, etc. This was, hands down, the best hostel experience I have ever had.

Staff was very friendly and were a great help in recommending places to go/things to see in the city. Social environment allowed for me to meet and spend time with fellow travelers from all over the world. A wonderful and memorable experience. Perfect for the solo traveler. Thanks again!

This was a probably the best Hostel I have ever stayed in. The staff went out of their way to help you in anything you needed and made sure that everyone was having a good time. Would recommend this Hostel to anyone going to Barcelona, especially those travelling by themselves if they want to meet people. .

I had a wonderful stay at Hostel One! Angel set the tone with his warm welcome, both he and Valerio could not have been kinder or more helpful. The hostel has good facilities (kitchen, outside patio, clean showers etc) but the highlight of staying here is definitely the service from the staff. Dinner is cooked nightly and is a great way to mingle with other guests. Paulina's free tour and nights out are also a must! I highly recommend and am jealous of anyone getting to stay :) Book!
