Holy smokes, where do i even begin? I read reviews about this hostel prior to booking so i had incredibly high expectations before arriving. With that said, Cynthia and the entire staff were amazing! After the first day, i felt like i was part of a family. Free breakfast and dinner was a bonus. Met lots of great people from around the world, good way to connect/come out of your shell. I HIGHLY recommend this hostel to anyone travelling to Barcelona. You will regret it if you dont! - Esther

A great Hostel not far from the center of Barcelona and next to public transport. All the Staff I met were great and the Hostel has a lot of activities that help you meet other travellers. Definitely recommend this to everyone.

I can't say enough good things about Hostel One! As for the staff, I can honestly say I have never met a more amazing, genuinely kind group of people. Two days after I had checked out, I had a job interview via Skype and no internet access anywhere. Cynthia welcomed me like an old friend and let me use their wifi for hours, no problem! I can't wait to come back to Barca to visit them, and if you get the chance to stay here, you'll feel the same way! Seriously, can't recommend them highly enough

The best overall hostel experience in Barcelona, no doubt about it. You might think its inconveniently located based on a map but it's actually located exactly where you want to be, off of the touristy streets and right by some of the best, authentic Spanish food you can find. The friendly staff was not shy to chat with the travelers and incredibly helpful when it comes to recommending where to go and what to do in the city of Barcelona. They have a great food, free coffee and tea, and a jacuzzi

Excellent hostel! Great location, awesome staff, clean rooms and bathrooms. We enjoyed everything there from the dinners to people we met. If I am ever back in Barcelona I would definitely stay here again.

The staff knows EVERYTHING about Barcelona, especially Cynthia! There were always people wanting to go out and I never felt alone even though I traveled to Barcelona on my own. The dinners at night are a really special thing. I definitely enjoyed my time, mostly thanks to the great guidance of the staff helping me to plan my days in Barcelona! The only thing I didn't like was being asked to give them 100% on hostelworld. If you deserve a good rating (you do!), I'll give it to you! Don't push. ;)

It was an AMAZING week!! The hotel is crazy well placed in city, u can go everywhere very easy. The structure is nothing more or less than what they sell u...the staff?? Well...a hostel that has Cinthya and Gonzalo can ask for nothing else. All their tips are right, they always remember u and the last topic of conversation u were last time..thanks to cinthya we saved lot of money and had great meals! ROCK ON GUYS! CANNOT WAIT TO COME BACK TO BCN

Staff was amazing and very helpful in fufilling our days with activities as well as cooking free delicious meals everynight. I felt very at home and comfortable in this hostel great experience.

Good hostel made great by the staff. By far the most welcoming and helpful staff we came across traveling! The location is good, but I would rather have been closer to the center of town/old city.

Me and my friend had a blast! Liked that the hostel wasn't that big, so you really got acquainted with people. The staff was excellent as well :) Very much recommended!
