Possibly the best hostel I've stayed in! The staff, especially Angel and Dean, couldn't have been friendlier. Printed things whenever they needed to be printed, helped with tickets for entry, gave us an exhaustive rundown of the city, always greeted every guest by first name when they saw them! Angel even cooks free dinners for his guests - a more welcoming and friendly person you couldn't hope to meet. Good area, nice bathrooms and good chill out area. A little loud at night but its a hostel

My time in Barcelona was wonderful!! The facilities at the hostel are modern and comfy! the staff were all great - always happy to give you info and answer your questions!! There is a wicked vibe at this place...friendly and communial...great for meeting fellow travellers. it was easy to walk or catch the train anywhere. They took us to get places at night and helped us find the activities or places we wanted to find! Thankyou for a fab stay!! Would recommend to everyone :)

Definitively the best hostel that I have visited during the 2 months of travel around Europe. Keep up the dinner, it's the best part of the experience. I'm sad to hear that Dean (the Brit) is leaving. When he leaves, I think it's important to have one native English speaker in the group - to avoid any misunderstandings or and provide different perspectives. I will definitely return to this place in my next travels to Barcelona. :)

I really enjoyed my stay here. It s a great place to meet people. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The dinners were great, the staff even made something for me to eat as a vegetarian, which was really nice. Would definitely recommend!

Don't change anything about yourself and stay positive and happy. We will come back for shure :)

The staff here are GREAT. We were only in Barcelona a few days, but they helped make it a wild, fun few days. The hostel itself was clean, and the nightly shared dinner made meeting people really easy. Showers were a little unreliable as far as hot water was concerned, but that's been pretty common in the hostels on our trip ... And didn't do much to take away from the AWESOMENESS of the hostel. Angel, you're a champion! Can't wait to come back. :)

It is really an AWESOME hostel!! I was little worried about the hostel at first because I'm traveling alone and don't know much about it. But the result of my choice was super great! The staffs give you such an useful information, the room is clean, and most of all, FREE DINNER TIME is just awesome!!!! You can meet the new people, having some nice food for free:) I highly recommend this place!

Hostel one is one of the best hostels in Europe, definitely the best in Barcelona. I arrived on a friday night, everyone was ready to go party and instead they offer me dinner and waited for me to go out with them. The hostel staff is lovely, they make sure you have a good time! Did I mention there is a jacuzzi? quite relaxing... The breakfast is very good as well.

This place will make your stay in the Beautiful city of BCN that much better, the incredible friendly and geniuine stuff will help you make the most of this city. The dinner which is FREE. Is the perfect excuse to intearct with others , get to know people and make friends. If you are traveling by yourself thismis the ideal place to stay, if youmare not, it is still the best place to stay. Thanks Angel, Valerio (Napolitano boludo) and Dean. Located a bit of a walk from old town, but still a good area. Free dinner that gets everyone involved and amazing staff really make this place. Could use a couch in the common area!

Hostel One Paralelo was by far the best hostel I have stayed at in 6mths!!!! The staff were very friendly & very helpful when giving us exhaustive information of the city/rail/nighlife/sites. The staff knew everyone by there first name which gave it a welcoming/homely feeling. The hostel provided dinner for no charge, but accepted tips. was fantastic sitting down with everyone for dinner. I will recommend this hostel to everyone, it was in a safe area and only 2min away from metro!!

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at! The staff was great; they were friendly, welcoming, and made guests feel at home. The hostel is in a great location and was an easy walk to the metro station. However, it's also easy to walk from the hostel to some major sites. The facilities were very nice. The bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone traveling to Barcelona!

Me and my friends from Brazil had an awesome time there. The atmosphere the staff create is just perfect and they are also very friendly and helpful. Definitely the best hostel I've been in Europe! Thank you Angel and everybody there!

That was the best hostel I've ever stayed! First the stuffs are very nice and helpful. They make it like our home, which makes our trip better and more enjoyable. We were kinda sad at the time because we wanted to see games of Liga Espanola but that was off season but a stuff told us that there is a big friendly match BEFORE we asked and we could watch it! Also they helped us get the ticket of the match and trains as well. Good hostel to stay for sure!

Had a great stay over New Year's Eve, awesome environment great staff! 6 bedroom dorm was the entry to another 2 rooms which wasn't ideal though.

Best hosel in Barcelona...the staff are very helpful and fun!
