One of the best hostels I've stayed to. Atmosphere is amazing. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful: making a lot of effort to make you feel very comfortable and organize really great activities every night. If you are party and easy going people - maybe this is the best hostel in Barcelona to stay. Good location and facilities. Clean. Everything worked properly.

Great hostel! Wonderful staff make you feel at home and it is located close to everything including the metro. Great spot if you want to meet fellow travelers.

The atmosphere at Hostel One Paralelo was fantastic, the staff are fun, helpful and enthusiastic. When you arrive they give you a map of Barcelona with lots of great recommendations of toursity and non-touristy places to go for food, entertainment and sightseeing. There is a home cooked meal every night and a dance party at a club nearby every Monday night. Great place to meet people. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Only downside is the WiFi and internet terminals are unreliable.

Great location!!! But the best thing about this place is the people. Facilities lack fine touches but the staff more than makes up for it. Cynthia is awesome. She will help you with anything, vey knowledgeable about the city, what to do where to go etc. I'd come back here anytime!!!

This truly was a very friendly place. I did find the rooms a little on the small side. I was in a 4 bed dorm. Also the showers were a bit snug. Spotless though.

Can't imagine a better hostel experience. Right as soon as you get in, the dude working the front desk will immediately become your new best friend, give you a full rundown of exactly what you should do during your weekend in barcelona, and cook you and all the other guests at the hostel a 2-course dinner. The facilities were nice, they don't charge to rent a towel, sheets, or a locker, and there's a metro station relatively close by. Good staff, good facilities, good location - solid hostel.

The friendliest and nicest staff I have ever met in a hostel. The people do make a difference. Great advices from the staff about getting around in Barcelona. Everyone just made me feel very welcome in Barcelona and I came home with great memories. The hostel is not right in the center of the city but it has extensive transport accessibility: metro, bus, cable car, funicular, EVERYTHING! No.1 hostel choice in Barcelona! The dinner is delicious!

As far as I know, best in Europe. I stayed in this hostel for one week. Absolutely a great hostel. Every night people sit together, talking, laughing and playing cards. one "bad thing" is that the people will leave for their own countries and it makes me feel "sad". But all left are the happy memories. ---Yan

Staff is awesome, giving a lot of advices about what to do, taking us to the best places, cooking the best dinner ever, etc. the atmosphere is really familiar: people know each other since the beginning during thee free tours, and keep being together during the dinner, which is a warm up for the parties. The location is perfect, it's close to a lot of touristic points and even if you have to go to a place a little bit far, that are metro stations and bus stops nearby

This was, without a doubt, the best hostel experience I have ever had. Upon walking through the door, I was immediately welcomed into the family of 30+ travelers and the staff. Valerio, Gustavo, and Cynthia were INCREDIBLE. Honestly, the best hosts I have ever encountered. They made us dinner, showed us around the city, showed us to bars, restaurants, and monuments, and just sat and talked about our lives and theirs. I cannot explain how great this hostel is.
