The hostel is greate for meeting ppl! Staff will tall you all you need to know about Barcelona and will help you buy tickets to the attractens, just ask them! The location not very central but close to metro station and to the park and has lots of places to eat and going out within wolking distence. HAVE FUN IN THE HOSTEL I'm allready miss it ;)

Staff is awesome, giving a lot of advices about what to do, taking us to the best places, cooking the best dinner ever, etc. the atmosphere is really familiar: people know each other since the beginning during thee free tours, and keep being together during the dinner, which is a warm up for the parties. The location is perfect, it's close to a lot of touristic points and even if you have to go to a place a little bit far, that are metro stations and bus stops nearby

This was, without a doubt, the best hostel experience I have ever had. Upon walking through the door, I was immediately welcomed into the family of 30+ travelers and the staff. Valerio, Gustavo, and Cynthia were INCREDIBLE. Honestly, the best hosts I have ever encountered. They made us dinner, showed us around the city, showed us to bars, restaurants, and monuments, and just sat and talked about our lives and theirs. I cannot explain how great this hostel is.

Small hostel but very cosy atmosphere. Staff were definitely the most friendly I have met, it's no wonder why so many solo travellers come here.

Hostel One Paralelo was one of the best hostels I have stayed at. The staff are very helpful and friendly. My first impression of the place was great I was hungry and I showed up after a long day of travling and was greated with free dinner. This hostel provides free dinner every night , they serve breakfast late which is great for those of us who came to party. The hostel even has a jacuzzi.

Hostel One Paralelo really exceeded my expectations, which were high to begin with because of great reviews here on Hostelworld.com. It's everything a great hostel should be. Awesome atmosphere, the free dinner with everyone was awesome because everyone got so well along and even though I only just showed up in the evening, I immediately fitted into the group and everyone was sharing their experiences of traveling and of Barcelona.

The hostel and staff were great from before you even land in Barcelona. The directions and pre-trip email was very helpful. I enjoyed the communal dinners and whenever you walked out the door the staff was happy to provide you with a sight-seeing agenda.

Very friendly staff, good location and clean rooms. You can rent a bike at the hostel for 8 euros a day.

Best hostel in Barcelona I say that because I stayed at another 90 rating hostel but they're nothing compare to hostel one. Stay there if they have availability. You won't regret. Everyone is nice in the hostel and "Leo" made the best beans and spaghetti dinner.

The homecooked dinners was a great way to save on money and meet other travellers. Location is conveniently close to the metro.

Great hostel. The entire staff is excellent and go out of their way to make sure your stay there is the best it can be. Before I even checked in I was given a tour of the facility (which includes a jacuzzi on the back patio!). Free breakfast and great dinners cooked each night. Helpful info provided for site seeing, as well as free walking/pub tours organized by the staff. I met some great people here and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Barcelona.

Awesome hostel, within an hour the staff had made me feel like I'd been there for weeks and helped me get to a Barcelona match within ten mins of arriving!! Food was top quality, especially the Paella and really relaxed atmosphere... unless you feel like going out in which case they are more than happy to take you out partying, only problem was they were very busy with bookings so could only stay a few day. Wifi gd, all clean and tidy bathrooms etc etc

I had an amazing time in Barcelona thanks to the guys from Hostel Paralelo. You do a fantastic job! Enjoyed the community dinners a lot. I highly recommend this hostel.

I have been traveling for three months now and this hostel by far has been the best experience. The staff is incredible and if you are looking for a warm welcome THIS IS YOUR PLACE!
