A hostel with superbly friendly, helpful characteristic staffs. Amazing atmosphere thus making me feel very comfortable during my stay. Very quiet surrounding and strategic location to move around the city and very safe to stay in. Most importantly - clean bed and bathroom and not to mention free breakfast and dinner with loads of fun activities as well!

The Hostel was awesome! Especially the staff is really helpful! Free dinner is great and also great to get in contact with other travellers. Negative is that you a room in room system, which means you have to cross a room to get into 2 others, which again means that you have 18 people making noise when they come home late and switch on the lights and so on instead of 6 like in a "normal" 6 bed dormitory. But would stay there again.

The hostel staff were very friendly and helpful. The fun begins at dinner time every day when everyone gets together. The dinner and breakfast are free and were good. Met people from different nations. Had a very good time

This is by far the best hostel I've stayed at throughout my five months of traveling. It's impossible to not have a good time in a place with delicious dinners, a great location and a staff that treats you like family. If you're looking to meet people on your trip to Barcelona, you can't go wrong here. Thank you Valerio, Angel, and Niko for the good times!

We were received with a very warm welcome. The staff members were all very accommodative and helpful,any time of the day. The breakfast was merely 2.50E and the dinner was free. The dinners were amazing!!!:D definetly enjoyed every bit of it. The members of staff at the hostel had become family in only 3 days and there were plenty of freindly people that we had met in the hostel itself. Overall, if I were to visit barcelona again, I would definetly stay there without a doubt :D

The best hostel I have ever stayed at. Don't bother looking at other hostels, just go to hostel one paralelo. The service and staff at this hostel are excellent. After staying for 8 nights the hostel felt like home. Angel, Valerio & Paulina will treat you like family and cook you dinner every night for free. Also very affordable!

The staff create a fantastically cheerful and friendly atmosphere, led by the irrepressible Angel. Whether you want travel advice, food, suggestions for sights and shops, the biggest party in town, or a thrashing at chess, they will help.

Absolutely amazing. It was like staying at a friends house, but even better. Cannot recommend enough! It has such a great culture and atmosphere that is created by the staff who will go all out to make you feel at home. The place is literally run by angels! 100% stay there!!!!

We had a really wonderful stay here!! Lovely staff who learn your name and are very helpful!! Best check-in by Dean!! They provide dinner from tips, and breakfast!! Dinner was awesome one night we had Tapas!! Rooms were a good size and the location is very good. Bike hire they provide is recommended to those who want a fun way to travel around Barcelona!! An amazing host with Angel and an ever hospitable group of staff that made the whole stay here enjoyable. Superb 5-stay hostel!

The staff (especially angel) are very friendly, warm and hospitable. They definitely made our stay at the hostel a great experience! Free dinners are great opportunities to meet really cool people.

Fantastic stay! It Out did the hostels we stayed in over our two month euro trip in terms of hospitality, cleanliness, friendliness and value for money! The small hostel is Always fully booked, allows for the hostel to bond at dinner time, which I will add is free and delicious! enjoy the comfort of some Pre drinks at the hostel before heading out. The staff are friends, they will come out and party with you! Thanks guys at hostel 1 an absolute experience. I'll be back for sure!

I had a great time in this hostel-- dinner and breakfast were included with a cheap price for the two nights I was there. Very few complaints. One is that there is only one shower per room, and when there are 10 people in one room you might have to wait occasionally. The other is that I'm not sure how often the top comforters get washed, because I noticed when I got home that I had a weird rash on my foot which is why I downgraded cleanliness... otherwise it was very clean.

The staff were incredibly hospitable and fixed us excellent dinners every night for free. They took us on bar/club tours at night which was great since it's hard to know which ones to go to. Highly recommend this hostel.

The hostel was fantastic! Clean and friendly- just like a home! As soon as you come into the hostel, the staff makes you feel welcome, seeing if you´re hungry- helping you get settled and giving you tips and advice about what to do in Barcelona. Angel is truly an angel! He pulled out a map and circled EVERYTHING that I should do, what time, and even gave me safety tips! I would definitely stay here again, and might even come to visit when I´m living in Barcelona, just to hang out. :)

The staffs are really kind , bathroom is clean. They give free dinner so there are many chances to meet new people.
