The hostel itself is great, but the best part was the staff - friendly, helpful, hospitable, and fun, they really made my stay worthwhile.

Hands down the best hostel I stayed at in Europe. Amazing staff, always looking to answer your questions and make sure you have a good time, cheap drinks, and fantastic price for the $$$. Hostel One is simply great.

This is a big hostel with all the right stuff that you need, modern and well refurbished. A fairly young crowd (20-25 mainly) at least when I was there. It is situated 30 minutes walk from the Old Town Square but in a nice neighbourhood with cool, more authentic and cheaper bars and restaurants than the centre. Great place to stay but the size make it lack a little bit of intimacy even though the basement pub brings a good atmosphere when you want a party.

Close to the train station - approx 20 minute walk. Neighbourhood felt a bit rough, a few homeless people around. 5 minutes from a tram which could you straight into the heart of prague in about 15 minutes. Rooms was large, clean, mattress was a bit soft for my liking, lockers big enough for a day pack, my room had cooking facilities and a fridge but not pots/pans or cutlery. Didnt spend much time in the hostel so cant really comment on atmosphere or staff.

Great hostel to stay in. Very good for meeting people. The main disadvantage is the location but there is an easy tram that will get you in the centre.

Despite of being a good hostel, one of the things that I did not like was that I did not have a bed to sleep. There were several beds in the room but mine and my sister'sbed specifically did not exist. The mattresses were in a kind of "extra floor" that seemed to be improvised. The distance from the mattress to the ceiling was small, which gave me a bit of a phobia, and hindered the organization of my personal belongings.

The place is nice and staff really hospitable. It is easy to get to the center of Prague by tram (stops on Seifertova street, 3 minutes by foot) or metro (Křižíkova station, line B, 7 minutes by foot, through the tunnel). An apartment was on the 5th floor, but they have an elevator ) And we had private bathroom what is rare to find in hostels. There is Vitkov park near that place, so you can walk or run there.

Lovely hostel, in a fantastic location, with an epic patio and filled with exemplary and beautiful staff (with the exception of Sam - the dungeon troll of a bartender). Free homemade dinner 4 times a week. Nice kitchenette in each room, plugs at each bed and the fastest (hostel) Internet I've found in Central Europe. Pro-Tip: Do not pull out the yellow dart out of the wall in the bar, unless you're prepared for the consequences...in my pants.

Well I was a little disappointed because they told me they would have a free welcome shot but the bar was never open while I was there. Location is fine - you have to take a tram to the city center but they're fast, reliable, and free (just kidding, kind of)! Wasn't as social as other hostels I've been to.

We really enjoyed our stay at HostelOne - the rooms were clean and the atmosphere was awesome. There was a bar in the basement and friendly staff who helped us plan our stay in Prague. The community dinner was a nice touch too. We'd definitely recommend this hostel to friends!

Well damn, Hostelworld, a 'Please' would've been nice. The hostel was terrific. The staff were fun and we met some people while we were there who were fun to travel the city with. It was very clean and very safe and yada yada yada I give it a 99% approval rating. It would've been 100%, but I told Joana I'd give 99% just to be testy. Really, though, go there.
