I liked both the rooms and the facilities at the hostel. Also the kitchen was large ans spacious. Most of all Geyson and Sandra were delightful to spend time with and full of information regarding the area and its activities.

Very friendly owners and very comfortable room. General vibe could be a bit better- no real social area, no music. Maybe it's because it's the start of low season but we felt the hostel, like the town, was a little lifeless.

Sandra and Geyson are really nice hosts, however, the hostel still needs some work to become a good/great hostel. The double room we were given bordered with the kitchen and communal spaces so was pretty noisy. Having to get your guests to light the pilot light on the boiler to get hot hot water is also not the safest idea and it's a pain. I also think for the money breakfast or a towel should be thrown in, especially for the (high season) price of the double.

Great hostel. Great location. WONDERFUL hosts. Sandra and Geyson were so helpful and very accommodating. Sandra was an excellent host and helped with all of my reservations and Geyson was an awesome guide up the volcano. We did group cenas each night and it was like staying at a home rather than in your typical 'hostel.' I could not recommend this hostel enough. I will definitely be returning to Pucón and will be staying at One Way.

I'm baffled by the great reviews this hostel has received. Sure, Sandra and Geyson are nice, but that doesn't excuse how lousy this place is. The kitchen is woeful and nearly devoid of useful things. The mattresses are completely worn out. The hot water system is a joke. The common area is very small and has limited seating. But the worst of all is the noise. Not only are the walls paper-thin, but there were people up until 3:00 one night and 5:00 the next, and Geyson was partying with them.

I think for the price they could include a small breakfast. Hated the fact that you always had to put on the hot water. That's very inconvenient when you just want to wash up a single plate. Rooms are very small to put 4 big backpacks in. Something to dry the showers with would come in handy not to create a bath in the bathroom.

We stayed in the cabaña which has a double room, a twin room an own kitchen (inc. refrigerator) and bathroom. It was very comfortable and quiet. The bathroom and kitchen were cleaned every day, so everything was very clean. For our stay we booked the twin room, because the double room was occupied. The next day it became vacant and Sandra offered to change our room to the double room for we're a couple. This was very accommodating. She also helped us with booking activities. Would stay again!

My friend and I stayed here for a few days and we had a great time! Everyone in the hostel was very friendly and came from various places in the world. The hosts, Geyson and Sandra, were very accommodating and nice as well. Sandra helped a lot with logistical/house things, and Geyson was an awesome guide up the volcano! Also, we did a big barbecue-type thing with almost everyone in the hostel and it was a blast. Would definitely go back to stay there again.

Sandra and Geyson were excellent hosts and the hostel (thin walls and all) is a great place to meet people and generally have a brilliant time. Geyson is one of the reputable tour guides to walk up the volcano with and Sandra is awesome too! We'd stay there again.
