Unfortunately my stay was ruined by inconsiderate roommates, but this was out of the staffs control. They were more than accommodating to assist with my issues and were helpful when I asked them about the city and nearby places. The ensuite room was great and the kitchen was well equipped, however sometimes you may need to wait. The street below is loud until about 11pm and from 7am but it can be slept through.
Good place to stay if you're not staying long. Everything is made out of metal in the rooms and it was so noisy in the morning (squeaky beds/lockers). There also isn't much space in the rooms for big bags. It was also extremely noisy in the street below and it carried right up. On the plus side, the kitchen is well equipped, the balcony is a nice area to relax, there are lockers in the room. Staff weren't very helpful at all. Comfortable enough but if I was going to Nice again I'd stay elsewhere
Good place, really well located. Nothing spectacular about it but it works. One guy who worked here was kind of snotty when we were checking out and getting deposit back. But overall great stay, would stay again
we had a very lovely stay here. all around good hostel for the price.
perfect location, helpful staff and credit to the big kitchen!
Showers were quite mouldy and there was an extremely arrogant and rude French man who hung out in the kitchen all the time like he lived there... otherwise beds were comfy, all the other bathrooms in the place were clean and the location is EXCELLENT.
I've stayed at many hostels and this one was ranked higher then most. The hostel is situated about 15/20 minute walk from the city centre, and for the price you pay it's pretty descent. There is an issue though with the socializing area, because after a certain time you can't go to the patio, therefor the kitchen gets crowded with people trying to socialize. Breakfast is extremely minor, and does leave you hungry, but you can get a cheap baguette down the street if you're eager enough.
Top location+great atmosphere for young travelers!!
Auberge agréable, staff très sympa et aidant, les chambres et salles de bain sont propres. Bref, merci bien!
The individual room was very big and bright. The room itself was not pretty, but the linen and towels were clean. Good location, good wifi and complimentary breakfast (simple but enough to start the day).
Good location. Not a far walk from train station, main shops or beach. Lockers in rooms, and a nice common area outside. We got stuck on a train overnight because of the storm and our reservation got canceled, but it was no problem and they upgraded our room for the same price, really nice after 30 hours of travel. A cute tortoise named Dennis who likes toes lives there, haha. Not a very good breakfast but lots of food near by. Wifi works well. I would recommend this place, no problems.
The staff are really nice and the location is great. The kitchen is convenient and clean and the breakfast is good. The atmosphere was really nice and easy-going. The tortoise in the backyard is super cute!
Awesome people and staffclose to the main street and the train station. I loved there
A good location and friendly staff. Only the breakfast was not great, bare minimum. Good value for money!!!
Very helpful and accommodating staff - especially Nigel. Free towels upon arrival. Breakfast was included. Great outdoor patio for hanging out. Everything was clean, close to the train station, and fairly close to night-ilfe. Also, great security. Absolutely recommend.
Stayed in Hostel Pastoral for 5 nights and really enjoyed the convenience, security and the very friendly staff! I felt at home (clean and organized) and I love sitting in the small outside terrace. It is very close to the train station [for French Riviera train hopping) and convenient stores (so you can cook) and some lovely Asian restaurants! It is a bit far from the beach and vieux nice (unless you take the tram or walk fast), and it is not a party hostel so meet other guests and go out!
Really nice, perfectly located for excursions to Cannes and Monaco. (Cannes is a bit meh) as well as the beach and old town. Supermarkets near by. Staff are helpful. Wifi is okay. Breakfast is amazing! The patio is great and the pet tortoise is awesome!
