-Only a shower and a sink in a room, no toilet -Terrace is nothing, it's just that they have nothing to boast about so they boast about the terrace. -No hooks in the bathroom! Should I put my clothes on the floor when I shower? -Towels are dirty; I just used them to wipe my feet -Internet connection in the corridor is poor, good in the room -Too few sockets in the room you have to fight with your roommates -They keep your baggage after you check out BUT you must return by 8pm and pay 1 euro

The Room was quite dirty. The location was dangerous after 24:00. There was no soap on the bathroom. was expensive for what it was.

Stayed for 3 nights in a mixed dorm and it is fine. Rooms are relatively clean, bathrooms are ok but would be better if they had hooks for clothes and towels. Extremely close to the station and very easy to find. Location is great and within walking distance to all the main attractions in Nice. There are no lockers, Free decent wifi available throughout the hostel but no breakfast.

Located close to the train station. Calm area though. Unfortunately no lockers, no common room and a very small kitchen. As long as you have nice weather you con stay on the big terrace.

The location was really good, and I had a full size fridge and a microwave in my room, with a small table and two chairs which were really useful. The only thing missing is probably a lounge where backpackers could interact, but there's a terrace which pretty much solves that. The kitchen is well equipped enough and there's a MONOPRIX nearby and a couple of fast food joints too. I personally had a great stay.

This hostel is a bit dusty and rundown, and it's not exactly party central, but the location is wonderful!! Maybe a 2 min walk from the train station, half a block from the main shopping/restaurant street, and a short walk from the beach and bus station. Wifi is a little patchy, too.

other than the one guy who works there, the other staff are kind of unfriendly. There's no common area other than the kitchen, which only has five stools and a table against the wall. Its nice that they give you free computers to use though. I suppose it could have been better if it was raining everyday and the tarrace had been usable.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. Lots of warm water and good wifi connection. There is a kitchen with actual cooking facilities including pots and pans. Very close to the train station and beach. If you have to check out early in the morning, make sure to get your deposit back the night before.

Great stay at this hostel, the family who run it are great, really helpful and the guy teaches the odd jujitsu move if you ask nicely! Rooms were really clean and was about a 10 min walk from the old town. Great place to stay in Nice.

this is a great hostel. it has a very nice location near the main road going to the shops and to the beach. it is very clean especially the toilets so that's a plus point for the hostel.

We have extremely terrible experience in Hostel Pastoral, Nice of France. Our reservation of 2 nights was confirmed by hostelworld.com. However, when we arrived there, the hostel manager could not give us the dorm and just briefly said the room had problem of water leakage. He quickly changed us to another hostel without asking us. We asked if that hostel had kitchen. The reply was he did not know. Then we wanted to see how bad the water leakage was. He did not show us and soon got very angry.

the owner is so friendly! we checked in at 1am and he very kindly made sure we checked in without any problems... and also offered some good places to see on the french riviera. rooms are clean - we had the double bed ensuite room. it had a fridge and microwave which came in handy. location is fantastic, too. right off the main street (jean medecin) and a tram ride away from the beach. about a two minute walk from the main train station, too. highly recommended.

Kitchen is a huge plus: not only can you finally cook but also a lot of people use it so it gets really friendly and social on the terrace... until you get kicked out around 23h, so go to the beach. It's very low key and they treat you like an adult. Beach is about a twenty minute walk, even if you brought your own towel you'll be glad they give you one (it gets salty quick). Shower in the room is nice, but the bathroom situation... there's only 2, it gets slow in the morning.

In general, it was a nice place to stay and very near to the train station. There shall be a clear sign showing that the reception is open!~ I arrived at seven thirty p.m and the door was closed, I thought that we missed the check-in time!~ It was in fact open at the second floor XD And the reception persion was making us unpleasant.
