The free airport pick up and drop off was nice! However when we got there the lady was just like "here's your room. See you later" And left us without explaning anything (like where the bathroom was!) There isn't anyone "in charge" there ever, if you need something you have to wander down to the lady's house and try and find her, which got a bit awkward after a while... Breakfast was AMAZING!!! as was the location. All in all the good outweighs the bad.

All hostels on Easter Island are expensive this was one of the cheaper ones. It was ok but could have been cleaner in kitchen and shower was hit and miss with hot water.

The house we stayed in was not the house in the hostelworld pictures. Our room had no fan and window had no screen so it was uncomfortably hot and full of mosquitos. Dead cockaroach in our room for the entire 4 days and room was never cleaned. Internet was almost non-existent (45min to open one email). Had to buy our own toilet paper and bathroom was ALWAYS filthy. Shower was either boiling hot or freezing cold. Transfers were handy, location was ok, breakfast was good and staff always friendly.

The hostel is very quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The transfer is for free. The breakfast and the kitchen is simple, but very good. Weakness points: There is no place to lock your baggage. There is only one shared bathroom and the shower base is broken.

A bit apart from the city center but not far from Ahu Tahai where you can see sunset every night before going back to the hostel. A quiet place managed by a helpful family where you have the feeling to live as people of Easter Island with the rooster that crows every morning, the terrace where you spend all your time and the grandfather, sitting on the stairs outside under the mango tree, who carves wooden moai. Beautiful immersion in easter island life.

Stayed in single room for 1 week. Nice relaxing place 10min walk out of town center. Pro: Very comfortable large rooms, regular house with 4 rooms just used as hostel. Friendly staff. Neg: Internet connection too slow to open up any web page or download emails. Very low security (house and room always open).

Very nice family who run the place, very helpful. We had the chance to visit the island with don Sergio, it was an incredible day on the island. Small but clean rooms, hot water available. 5 minutes walk from restaurant and main street.

A clean and inviting place with good outdoor seating. The staff is very friendly, they pick you up and drive you back to the airport. The owner and housekeeper speak only Spanish, but the owner's wife speaks English. We spent Christmas at this hotel and the owner invited us all to a Christmas dinner with excellent food. We had a great time.
