This is not a true hostel as Pink Floyd is only one of about 30 enterprises that have rooms in a 7-storey rectangular appartment block with a common central courtyard. There is no common area such as a restaurant or kitchen for hostellers. My friend and I stayed in two single rooms on the ground floor. We had a concern that there could be a problem in the event of a fire as the windows were barred. Vladimir on reception (25 metres down the road in Hotel Hollywood), was v. friendly and helpful.

The night staff at reception was very nice. They were quick to receive our reservation and had good TV, towels, secure entry way, and breakfast provided. Since it is near the Termini we were able to go places easily. Overall excellent.

The hostel is within the Hollywood hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and they speak russian too. Vladimir and Nataliya and Monica are very nice people and do a lot to make your staying pleasant, though the hostel itself should take care of its facilities better (don't expect much on this part).

Excellent location, but single rooms are really small -- do not choose unless you really need privacy. Very clean bed and sheets, changed each 2 days. Sometimes the lift get stuck as someone forgot the door open, so warning signs should be placed at every level of the building. Receptionist (Monica) was friendly, helpful and beautiful.

This hostel was way better than any I've stayed at before. There was heat, clean towels were laid for us, we had a private bathroom, and the staff was friendly. Location was great. There was a good amount of security. The only thing I would criticize is that the beautiful garden wasn't made open for hostel stayers to hang out in. Besides that, it was a wonderful stay. I'd definitely stay here again. So clean, especially for Rome.
