I stayed there for two nights and it was a nice Hostel. Small but cozy it had a decent breakfast. The owners were great and took me to the Rodoviaria when I left (at a fee of course, a little cheaper then a taxi). I'm not sure if it is because of the time of year but there were not many travelers. I wish I could speak Portuguese a little better. I understand a lot and can speak enough to get by, but striking up a conversation with the people was quite daunting. All in all a nice place to stay.

Great hostel as regards cleanliness and security! (a bit too much) It was a little difficult to find it as there is no signs on the door. Hostel is huge and it has big common areas, nice and clean. Càssie the lady is just great! If you really need to learn Portuguese talk to her! Very helpful and warm! We did love her! Best breakky ever!
