The hostel is not where it appears on the map on this website or others. It's not in Punta del Este. It's in Maldanado across from the beach (Playa Mansa). The location is great for beach access but if you want to be in town, you'll need to catch the local bus - I usually waited for about 15 minutes for one and then it was another 15 minutes on the bus to get to Punta del Este. The bathroom was not very clean (they could have at least wiped the sink down). BUT, the staff is very friendly!
