Hostel Playa Reviews

I really wanted to like this hostel but unfortunately it felt quite anti social, the walls of the rooms don´t reach the ceiling so the loud music played until late is impossible to escape. I had booked on hostel world for two nights but was told to pay daily when I arrived- on te second day the price had increased and when I asked about my deposit I was answered with "I don´t know" and told to pay the full amount...apart from that most of the staff were nice and the kitchen was great!

One of the worst hostel I've stayed: no doors at dorms, nasty odors, some dorms are just behind the toilets, extremely noisy... The rate of the hostel is good for what they offer (actually is pretty cheap). But if you can pay a little more to stay in a better hostel don't doubt it.

The best Hostel in Playa del Carmen! Nice atmosphere, a bunch of nice people (u will always find someone to hang out with), huge common area with beds, sofas, hammocks, chairs... it's just perfect for all types of backpacker! :-) So enjoy your time there!

Great value. Can't complain about anything with what we paid to stay there. Noise was quite a lot but almost instantly shut down at quiet o'clock (midnight or 1am I think?). decent everywhere else
