It's very close to the china town train station (nishikawacho) and simple to find. The room was small, but the beds were comfy (that's the important part). Breakfast was free and very yummy. I would advise you know a little japanese, but the staff have everything in English as well and they are very helpful. The only downside i would say is having to wait/pay 100 yen for a shower. Also, there is a cat and rabbit cafe very close! It was so nice.

Hostel porto was not the best looking place, but it was definitely decent just for the one night. Our room (twin private) was clean and had comfy beds, air con/heater and TV. Breakfast in the morning was a nice plus. Overall good value for money!

Fantastic hostel. Staff are friendly, there's free wi-fi and you couldn't ask for a better location in a lovely area.

Great location to china town, but there wasnt much character, staff never seemed to be around, although I was able to check in early. I was locked out of my room on the ground floor and there werent any staff about, so I slid my room window open and climbed through, not very secure. No lockers, only padlocks on wire. ¥100 for a shower was a slap in the face for a paying guest, but place is ok to stay at for short time only. Breakfast was good!
