nice hostel

This hostel had really good potential to have an epic atomosphere as it has a cool lounge that everyone could of chilled in and got to know each other before going out...however the only problem was that everyone kept themselves to themselves.... That is down to the effort of the staff. If the staff played drinking games etc with everyone and then took everyone out to the best places it would of been great. Wifi is poor & so is breakfast. Security good & location is great!

We got to the first hostel and got relocated to the one in the Lesser Quarter. This was well worth the extra walk the best shower ever especially in 32 degrees!!

Had a good stay. Not very good common area except for smoking outside, not ideal for a solo traveller. Showers were 2 per bathroom which was a bit strange. Amazing location, so close to the main square. Wifi coverage was excellent. Breakfast was average and only had warm milk, but sandwich was a nice touch. Very clean, great value for money.

wifi signal is really bad. wifi was always disconnected on 3rd floor. and they moved my friend's room to another their sister hostel without any notification, but it was quite close though. everything was fine besides this

Great and helpful staff, comfortable accommodation, and location is perfect for sightseeing around old town and the castle.

We were sent to the OLD PRAGUE HOSTEL: Very well situated, near the town center, safe neighborhood but noisy. Hostel was clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. However there was no global common rooms (only the kitchen on each floor) and the breakfast was basic (cereals, coffee, milk, orange jus and a sandwich to go). Rooms were ok (big rooms but beds very close and no chairs). Also no space to leave clothes at the showers. Overall, it was very nice but a bit expensive.

The location was great - right by the Tyn church and old town square with everything within walking distance. The hostel was very clean and the living space and cooking facilities were good. Wifi worked everywhere but your room so you have to step out into the corridor to get internet, or just chill in the living space.

Staff very rude!

Two of my roommates took people back to hostel to sleep with. I was glad that I have to change the room on the second day. The beds were so noisy that I couldn't even sleep well as long as others turned over. And the shower was really small. It's really terrible that I could'nt take a comfortable shower after a tiring day.

This hostel is one of the best I've ever stayed in. It's located right next to the town hall square, it's clean, it has nice facilities, it's not expensive and it has included breakfast. Staff are very nice as well and give good addresses to get out and eat. I'd come back very happy.

Location was great!

Decent hostel in the heart of Old Prague. Clean, comfortable rooms with an okay lounge in the basement. Breakfast was free, but almost wasn't even worth that (cereal and a sandwich that was essentially stale bread). This hostel prioritizes groups over the individual traveller, so I had go move rooms after my first night so some 18 year old girls could share a room. The room they moved me into

Tyn was a great hostel, especially for young travellers. Great atmosphere downstairs in the basement. Great kitchen facilities and free breakfast. Perfect location, literally 5 mins from the main square. No air con so rooms get pretty steamy!!

Great stay, staff was very helpful in finding things to do and answering all questions. Great location to get to sites! The sandwich was a nice touch. Just wish the shower room locked! Great stay and would come back!

Great location and breakfast is included! Not really enough showers for the number of people- were consistently full on our floor.

Excellent location and great facilities. However since it was a bit bigger it felt like a hotel at times, so it wasn't the best environment for meeting people. Overall really nice though

Location of the hostel was perfect, being 3 minute walk away from where all of the tours left in the Old Town square. Staff were really friendly and gave directions to supermarkets, cash points and post offices. The breakfast provided and free sandwich was a good to start the day. Would be better if there were more toilets available and if you could see whether they were occupied or not. Showers were a problem as water flooded the floor and one of the bathrooms had no lock and 2 showers- bit odd
