Excellent service provided by all staff, breakfast and lunch inclusion was amazing! Really enjoyed the location and the safe feel of the place. Would come back!

The reception staff were so friendly, they would remember your name and room number and if we had any queries they were very helpful and knew exactly how to solve them. Breakfast was quite basic but free so who can complain! Also received a free roll for lunch which was nice. Everything was kept clean, and even though the idea of communal showers seemed daunting it was never really a problem. The rooms were nice as well as the lounge area downstairs, which we used after we checked out.

We stayed for only one night but it was nice. Not the cosiest or the lightest place I've stayed in, the rooms and corridors with no windows are rather dark. Also there is one shower for women only but no lockable showers for men. However the staff is super friendly and helpful, lockers in rooms are big enough for a backbag, wifi is excellent and free breakfast is always a plus. Would recommend.

Some guests were too loud late night.

We have passed an excellent weekend! The location is perfect and the staff was very kind

The hostel is just 1 min walk from the main square, perfect location also for plenty of bars and clubs (with outrageously cheap beers!). Common room in the basement is very convenient: noise doesn't get to the rooms even late at night. If you're light sleeper (like me) bring earplugs and you'll be fine. Oh and the reception guy with the dreadlocks is the best!

Unbeatable location, clean, plenty of bathrooms, good wifi throughout, small kitchen but well equipped. Lounge area didn't have much atmosphere and breakfast was basic (but similar to many other hostels). Receptionist with curly hair and glasses was super friendly and helpful but other staff were disinterested. Was odd that the only way to open or close the dorm window was to move a whole bunk bed (leaving it was wide open so during the storm we got wet..). Overall good stay, would recommend.

Was expecting more from pictures and description. Didn't like the atmosphere and the toilet and shower room were not nice but other than that it was ok

The location of Hostel Prague Tyn is great and it is definetely a good value of money. The breakfast is simple but not bad. There is only one WC and shower per floor (for girls) for around 4 dorms of 8 beds, I dont think it is enough even though I never faced too much waiting time..and usually I found them cleaned!

The staff is excellent!

Hostel Tyn is in an incredible location - less than a minute's walk from the extraordinary Old Town Square and myriad bars and eateries. The hostel has a chilled but social vibe, providing walking tours and bar crawls daily. There was a decent number of hot showers (3) and guy's toilets (2) on our floor. The bedroom was clean and comfortable - it does get stuffy in there but leaving the windows open during the night generally does the trick. Overall, its location made it the best choice.

Not nearly enough showers or toilets. HOT; there is no ventilation in rooms, it gets incredibly hot during summer months, seriously; fans are cheap. LOUD, you get to hear everything that happens in the yard ie. music, screams, drunks, etc. all night/morning. There was partying well after midnight. Lounge area is a small room in the basement, not enough space. Kitchen is equipped with a tiny minibar fridge, for dozens of people. Not nearly enough sitting for breakfast.

Really cool hostel where there is a mix of people from all over the world! they have a great bar-crawl that is a must! The breakfast though is not that good... They offer different things but the sandwich was the thing that pulled the breakfast down.

I didn´t expect too much from this hostel, but if you want a quiet place for sleeping, never go there! Drunk people came to their rooms during all the night and nobody tells them to be quiet. So doe´s the breakfeast ... absolutely terrible....

Hostel Prague Tyn was a very nice hostel with a fantastic location. Located just off the main square, everything was without walking distance. The staff were all very friendly and the map they gave us on arrival was very useful for finding everything from tourist sites to a market and even a launderette.

The staff was super helpful with everything from directions, discount tours and trying to accommodate room changes. I would definitely suggest this hostel to anyone visiting Prague.

The hostel was nice and in a perfect location. But it was 40 degrees in Prague when we were there and the rooms were unbearably hot. There was no ventilation at all and it was really hard to sleep.

The hostel is located centrally, only 15 minutes from the train station and really close to the town square. There is a nice kitchen and they have board games to lend out. I did not like that I had to pay in cash for the room, particularly because the Czech Republic does not use Euros and so I had to specially take out money just for the hostel. The room only had an overhead light, so our roommates woke us up at 3 am when they came in from the bars-need lights and outlets by each bed!
