I couldn't have possibly enjoyed my stay at Hostel Prime Guimarães any more than I did! The hostel is a family-owned business with the atmosphere to match: I felt at home the minute I walked through the door! Fausto & Célia couldn't have been any more hospitable, they truly know how to make you feel welcomed! The location is perfect - safe, within perfect walking distance to everything, quiet but within 5 mins to nightlife. The hostel is SPOTLESS, probably the cleanest hostel I've ever visited!!

Location is good, facilities are spotless, but definitely the highlight of the hostel are the owners, Fausto and Célia. They are charming people and wonderful to talk to. Nice place to stay in the city.

This is a lovely centrally located hostel. The house is over three hundred years old but it has beautiful modern facilities and decoration. There is a fully equipped kitchen and lounge area with a computer for guests. There is also wifi throughout the house. The owners are lovely and very helpful. They made us feel right at home. At breakfast we tried some of their delicious home-made jam, which they also sell. Highly recommend it!
