The hostel is ok. The rooms and bathrooms are a little bit run down and old. Breakfast was not what they promised. The bread was old and thank god they served cereal so we could eat something. The wifi is unusable in almost all areas. The views are great and it's about 10 min walk away from the main streets downtown bariloche.
Loved the guys who ran this place, really nice relaxed friendly vibe. Social areas and kitchen were great, private room was decent. A touch worn at the edges but kept clean. Breakfast wasn't the best but I think they were trying so can't really complain too much.
The stuuf is great and very nice The location is at the center of the city great atmosphere
The hostel has awesome views, the staff were super friendly and the breakfast was all you can eat (with decent coffee). The beds in the 6 room dorm were a bit squeaky but the 4 bed room we stayed in was the nicest I've stayed in on my journey so far. Hit them up.
Nice small hostel with great view on the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff. The downside is, the breakfast is very poor.
Really nice place with amazing views. Staff is attentive and laid back. Nice little garden and kitchen/bar area with incredible lake views. The kitchen is well appointed (no microwave) and b'fast is good. The place is always spotless and staff can help you book tours. My only issue was the dorm I was in had the creakiest floors I've ever heard. If you're a light sleeper you'll have difficulty here - the whole dorm woke up when someone went to the bathroom - sounded like a herd of buffalo.
Great atmosphere, amazing views, awesome kitchen. Tomas and Tomas are incredibly helpful and I think it's because of them that the place has such a good feeling/atmosphere. The bathrooms are not the best though, and the rooms are a bit sparse.
really great staff. hostel is in a good location only a short walk up the hill from the civic centre park (square). the hostel itself is a bit tired - worn out carpets, missing tiles, missing controls on the kitchen hob, a little grubby but it is cleaned daily. good atmosphere. lovely terrace with a spectacular view of the mountains. overall, it was fine - the staff and atmosphere made it.
Stayed in private room, does overlook lake but the lakeside isn't that pretty so wouldn't take that account when picking a place to stay. Breakfast provided was poor and hostel deco bit tired. Staff friendly and able to give good advice. Bathroom in room was cleaned daily.
Hostel Pudu is one of our favourites on our trip so far. Both Thomas' were above and beyond helpful and it was everything you need. The hostel was clean, beds were comfy and the kitchen was stocked full of enough equipment for more than one person to cook at a time. We would have stayed longer if we had time. Such a great hostel for such an amazing place
Located in the town very close to bus and commercial center, this hostel also has a great hillside view, offers a light breakfast in the morning and hosts a bar in the early evening. This was a good choice.

The hostel is in a great location, right in downtown, close to the main street, bus stop and a street with nice bars. The hotel staff is the best, they will give you all tips you want, and nice suggestions for what to do in town. There is a really nice terrace in the hostel, where you can just chill and watch the beautiful lake just in front of you (it's true! all rooms have a view to the lake). Great hostel, atmosphere and great people!
