the breakfast was excellent!! 3x bravo! i also liked the design of the hostel and the bar / living room is really nice and comfortable. the only thing i could complain about is the fact that it was really cold in the rooms (i slept in a dorm) and also in the bathrooms and the heating did not work sufficiently because of the bad windows.

Unfortunately I can not judge because I canceled my reservation. Thank you for your attention. Albert Tenorio

Second time I visited Rotterdam and second time I stayed in Hostel Room: great location, great staff and, above all, I feel like home.

I thought the staff were very helpful and full of good advice especially Jonny and Nicki. The themed rooms are colourful and comfortable, we had a loud snorer but that can't be helped!

The kitchen should be bigger.

I have never met a more amazing bunch of staff! You guys are fantastic and made the stay. I think the fact that i checked in for 1 night, missed my plane out, and didnt even mind says it all :P just got to stay longer! :) Thanks a million, you had great advice where to go & what to see, and have sold me on Rotterdam. Not so easy to find the street beacuse is a pedestrian that cross over the street.

The staff was so nice and helpful. Showerrooms are quite small. Although i just had one night there, i really recommand this hostel for those travelers who need a place just like home.

Hostel Room Rotterdam was a really nice old building, in contrast of the rest of the city (which was new). The staff were amazing and gave us some great tips for places to visit even when we were leaving. The hostel was a bit further from the station than expected but it was quite easy walking there. Note that if you're staying on the third floor there are no taps in the bathroom (even to wash your hands). Go to the second or even first floor to find proper bathrooms.

Stunning hostel. Staff were ludicrously friendly, everything was as near as you could want from the building and the whole trip was a great success. Loved the building too, excellent mix of cosy/friendly/warm and historical/industrial/interesting. Spot on.

The hostel really rocked...having a bar next to the reception desk really shows the spirit of this place. Excelled above all in the pub like atmosphere and the fact that the bar never closes and hence the reception never closes down too. The Staff was very friendly and helped us out a lot on how to get around the city.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and my dorm was good. The only thing I disliked was that there was no place to hang your clothes or towel in the showers whithout them getting completly wet. You had to leave everything outside the shower in the common shower room. A small disappointment was also that they didn't organize the sceduled dutch food night which I was looking forward to.

The staff was fantastic, the room was good and the showers were only on some floor, but clean and always free. The breakfast was only cereal and coffee, orrible. Under the bed, there is a big locker. The location is 20min walking from the station.

Unfortunately we were only there for one night, but I can see that this is an excellent hostel. Good breakfast, good beds, staff were very friendly, the dog was very cute. I'd definitely recommend, and will stay here again when/if I come back to Rotterdam. My one suggestion would be to have proper curtains in the room, as the light from the outside street lamps was pretty strong.

PROS: good vibe, nice common area, friendly staff, decent free breakfast, clean rooms (LOVED the baskets under the beds!!!!). CONS: loud music went pretty late, hated the showers - the water goes everywhere and nowhere to put your things to keep dry ), weak wifi in rooms. Overall good value for the price.
