Thanks to Sandra we stayed here five times. The kitchen was a great bonus and we used it more than any other kitchen over the past two years. The location is great for the old and new town. Sandra has fitted extra lighting around the hostel so there is always light. The hostel is small only a max number of 22 people and it is all the better for it. the lounge area is a great place to meet and chat to other travellers. We would be back here again if we come to Quito. Good luck Sandra

Super cool hostel with amazing staff, central location, the cleanest of clean facilities, and an amazingly cheap happy hour from 5 to 7! Small common room allows you to meet people easily! Highly recommend!

The location is ideally located between the old town and ginrgolandia. This is a nice and super quiet hostel which is fantastic for when you are recovering from sicknesses of all sorts. Bathrooms are super clean, wifi is great and the beds don't creek. Beds also have lockable lockers which are great. HUGE kitchen with every appliance under the sun.

Great hostel, really enjoyed our multiple stays here, great atmosphere, kitchen is the most equipped we have had since leaving home, Sandra is a real help with advice on buses and things to do in the area, thanks again for a great stay.

Stayed here on/off for almost a week & found the place had great atmosphere & very friendly & helpful staff. It is not a party hostel but still a good place to meet a range of different people. Very close to public transport and quite safe/secure. There is a small drawer to store your valuables so be sure to bring your own padlock. Beds are very comfortable, there is hot water for showers & the place is cleaned very day.

Warm welcome from Sandra. Very pleasant place. Good location, twenty minutes from the Old town and a few minutes from city buses. A quiet hostel I would definitely recommend.

Location was not the greatest. Stay near the new town. The woman was very helpful in helping plan our next trip. Nice roof terrace.

I had a great stay at comfy HR. Sandra is such a great help and so nice. Ot was a good relaxed place to be to unwind after a party week elsewhere.

Hostel Revolution is the perfect starting point upon arriving in Ecuador. Can´t beat what you get for the price: hot showers, comfy beds, wifi that works everywhere (even on the rooftop terrace), happy hour, full kitchen, tv room with a huge movie selection, and in the dining area there´s a big tv to watch sports games. Located right in the middle of old town and new town and about 30 minutes to the major bus terminals in Quito. Owner Sandra is great, would go back if I was returning to Quito!

Super little hostel in a great and quiet location...ten mins walk from the historic center of town. Manager and crew very friendly. Quiet at night so plenty of quality sleeping up for grabs. Enjoy!

It's in a nice location but it didn't look safe at night. Really close to the BRT systems in Quito. Great atmosphere! Weird that they speak just a little or no Spanish at all, so you should talk english if you want to go there. Lots of showers with really nice hot water. Rooms and beds were OK.

Really friendly staff and very helpful! Bed are comfy although a bit short (if you`re more than 180cm you may appreciate the wood of the bed). Partnership with the travel agency helps to get nice tours and a free city tour really enjoyable. Strongly recommand.

Great decent place, located in the middle of the historical centre and the new town (Mariscal), with great connections by Ecovia/Trole transportation only 1 block away. Although it is in the middle of neither, it remains on the edge of both, and I personally found either old or new town to be walking distance.

Very friendly and sociable hostel with good common areas. Staff/owners excellent, even providing free cake on one of the evenings. I just explored the old town, never even went to the tourist area.

Great hostel. No lockers big enough to put your backpack in but they do have lockable drawers. Fantastic staff, the comfiest beds I've ever found in a hostel and a good location not too far from the old town and anywhere else you'd want to go. Also had large kitchen which is quite useful.

Wonderful hostel. Sandra and Michael are the best hosts in Quito. Moved here after a miserable stay at another Quito hostel. What a difference!! Friendly staff, great bar with Happy Hour beer, fully equipped kitchen, and a big screen TV to watch the winter Olympics (never expected that in a hostel). WARNING! the hotel was full when I was there and I could not extend my stay so book early and for your entire stay in Quito.

We had an amazing time at Revolution in Quito! The staff, Michel and Sandra (a fellow Canadian), were super nice and everyone we met was extremely friendly. For the reason this hostel only has 24 beds, it was very easy to meet other travellers. Since the hostel is between the Old Town and Mariscal, walking to either place is easy and we always felt safe. Finally, the kitchen facilities were excellent, the showers were hot with good water pressure, and there is a great view from the rooftop!
