One of the staff that was most of the time in the hostel does not speak english, only french, and during the night he drink our beverages that were in the fridge, two times! The atmosphere just was not so nice because the employes and most of the guest smoked all the time and all of our clothes were with the smell of smoke everyday.
This hostel have no organization what so ever! They have no clue who is coming and can't book you properly. I was changed to another room twice because "hostelworld bookers" arrived.
Prices are chaning from hour to hour. You can not be sure your last price. Other prices are on the booking system and other in fact. 4 dorm is on the roof ! unavailable during the winter !!!
Best value for money!! Be nice to Karim and youseff and they are so helpful to you. Free mint tea. Free Brekky and cuppa is so good. Decent bedding especially for how good the price is. About 5 mins walk from the old town. Going to stay there again before we leave. Anthony
Really well located, Not in the square so it's quiet, but only 5 min walk away so easily reachable. nice place to relax after being in the noisy streets all day. Good value for money with good breakfast. And there are tortoises! Very laid back vibe. There weren't lockers where I slept (bed on the terrace) but That was not an issue. Yousef was really nice, friendly and helpful:) he organised pickups, taxis, booked bus tickets, showed me around the city and was a beautiful friend! Stay here!
Very warm and welcoming environment. Helpful staff with what to do in the city. Location is great for going to the Medina.
Great hostel. Perfect cosy size, all you need to feel at home. Fantiastic value. karim's the man
DO NOT STAY HERE! I got eaten alive by bed bugs that proceeded to follow me in my luggage to the next riad I stayed at! I now have to bug bomb all of my things once I get home so they don't make it into my house! The staff didn't want to believe myself and others that they had been bitten and weren't understanding. Save yourself the headache, spend more money on somewhere nicer! I wish I had done so in the first place :\
I loved this place, the staff is super friendly and helpful, they kept inviting me free delicious tea and the staff cooks you a very nice breakfast every morning. Is got a super chil and comfty common area and a cool place to hang out in the ceiling. Liked a lot about this place but the staff takes the award. Wish all the hostels i stay at were like this.
Its a nice hostel with a very relaxing roof top terrace. Breakfast is also delicious although it took some time to get it. Also there are no real beds just matrasses on the floor but they were quite comfortabel.
The first night we stayed here my partner was bitten all over by bed bugs! He moved to another bed the next night and didn't get any more bites, but just check the bed for them before you sleep in it!! The free breakfast in the morning was pretty good and the location is really good as well. It's tucked away so it's quiet and it's a good distance from the main square. Would recommend for the price, not for the bed bugs!
I travelled to Morocco for business and to complete a climb of the highest peak in the Atlas mountains for a charity run. Although I was sponsered to stay in a 5* hotel near Marrakech,I decided that this hostel was a better option for me not only for its excellent location within the old city but for the amazing support of it's staff and the warm welcome I received. All the staff were very helpful especially Karime who was an excellent host, very attentive and really made you feel at home.

Mama Marrakech felt like an oasis, like a place to rest and relax in this busy, swirling city. Coming back to the hostel you'll always find a friendly face and a smile making you feel welcome. Great atmosphere, great staff - guys you are doing a wonderful job! Thanks for everything!
