We had different experiences over there. First, we´ve booked a ensuite bathroom and it turned out that everybody from the hostel was entering our oom to use the bathroom. The breakfast was supposed to be served from 8:00 to 10:00 but in our last day, we had to wake up one member of the staff to serve the breakfast and it was already 8:30. Even though this was very bad, the hostel has a very friendly atmosphere and the staff is willing to help all the time.

A great, relaxed riad with a hostel atmosphere and enormous character. We really enjoyed our stay and were thankful for the help that Yousef was able to provide us re tours and general information. It was very chilled out, and the breakfasts in the morning were perfect. Only complaints were that we were a tiny bit cold at night, and the lockers were a bit dodgy. Other than that we had a blast.

Upsides--location is close to the medina. Very nice free breakfast in the morning, and a great roof-top-terrace, very inexpensive. Downsides--smoking is permitted which makes the atmosphere unpleasant to sleep in if you don't smoke, the wifi is very poor, we were misquoted on the price of the tours and what was included.

Prior to arrival, my contact was Crystal, who was most helpful. Her husband, Yousef, was most pleasant as well. Their helpmate/friend, who greeted us, stayed overnight and prepared breakfast was very kind. Altho the promised pick-up at airport was late due to miscommunication, it did not spoilour stay. The accomodations are sparce and housing was cold (heater available), but warmth of owner/staff makes up for it; you cannot beat price of my first hostel/riad stay! They even offer tours!

Nice place.Good breakfast, nice commom area. The shower place could be a little bigger.Staff is nice. For information, is good to say that there is no bed, the mattress stay directly in the floor, maybe for some kind of tradition. But it's no problem, they are very comfortable.
