I really enjoyed staying here. The staff were so lovely and friendly and made me feel extra special on my birthday :) they provided us with lots of information about tours and further travel. The hostel was lively and colourful too, it felt very safe too, despite there being no lockers.

The Rouge is AMAZING! IT'S MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE HOSTEL, hands down. Ali, Hamooda, Ahkmed, and Ardouan are exceptionally friendly and helpful, they know the city well and are genuinely great guys. Everything is kept astoundingly clean, and the place has a great vibe. Breakfast is not only free but delicious and plentiful. There are pet tortoises, I mean really. How great. It's a relaxed, happy, family-like environment. I hope to come back here every winter.

Great Staff! It is hard to find people in which you can really trust in Morocco, and here it was ok. They helped us to find great for value trips and everything was ok. We came for a second time (we have started and finished our Morocco trip from Marrakesh). Regards, Mangualde

The character and use of the common area here, along with the hospitality of the staff were just amazing. That really made the hostel what it is.

The best hostel I have ever stayed in. I almost didn't want to leave because the atmosphere and the people are all amazing. There is a reason why it is a top ranked hostel! The common area is great to meet people and it is very communal. The beds are really comfortable. The best part if all is all the staff. Ali is a god amongst men and is genuinely concerned with your travel concerns and whatnot. He goes waaaaaay out of his way to ensure your stay is as comfortable and seamless as possible

Most amazing hostel I have ever stayed at. Malik, Jamal and the rest of the staff were so kind and such great hosts. There are no locks on some of the dorm rooms but still felt like all my stuff was safe (was able to leave my passport in a safe w/ Malik). The common area is super comfortable and it's always full of people. I was travelling by myself, so this hostel was perfect bc it's a fantastic place to meet people and be social. there's a turtle that chills in the common area too.

Ali and his team of wonderful staff really make this place! You immediately feel at home and could easily spend the day drinking copious amounts of tea and chatting to new friends. The environment is very relaxed and friendly, and you feel very looked after! It's the perfect retreat from the hectic-ness of the outside hustle and bustle. Go here! You won't be disapointed!:-)

The staff is what made this place amazing! They are always willing to help, and go above and beyond to make the hostel a relaxing and safe oasis from crazy Marrakech life. The atmosphere is great and the hostel attracts some amazing individuals. Overall a great hostel. Only thing I would recommend is investing in some softer pillows.

Hostel Riad Rouge was an oasis in the chaos of Marrakech. The atmosphere was ultimately relaxed and that is pretty much thanks to the wonderful hostel owners. They are around 24 hours a day, to open the door at midnight and serve traditional Moroccan tea whenever you want! This hostel is definitely worth all the money, you won't regret staying there! I would recommend it to any of my friends (youngsters)
