Hostel riad Marrakech Rouge is an amazing place. The staff make you feel right at home (special thanks to Hind and Ali for being amazing help). The atmosphere is great with free shisha and mint tea and coffee, breakfast is massive and yum. We stayed in a private room which was everything we needed: clean, power sources and fresh towels. The riad is amazingly decorated and the terrace is great to watch sunsets on. This place was amazing and I missed it when we left, a definite must!

Just great. The staff, the location, etc. are awesome. Sometimes it's a little bit cold, but they have plenty of sheet to solve that. It doesn't have to do anything with the hostel, but if you take any tour (sahara desert for instance) make sure to bring your lunch, because they stop at restaurants that are real rip off and there is nowhere else around to eat.

Really welcoming and great hostel. The staff really made sure that we had a pleasant stay. They helped us with getting to and from the hostel, navigating the city and they offered some great activities to do in Marrakesh as well as other parts of Morocco. Thanks for the beautiful breakfasts and the continuous flow of tasty mint tea. We will always have fond memories of our time in Marrakesh because of this hostel!

Really amazing atmosphere! The staff is perfect, always helping you with everything. Clean place, close to the principal square and not far from the airport. Bit difficult to find at the first time, but if you watch the film that the send to you, wont have any problem to find it!

I spent four nights in this moroccan riad transformed into the most colourful hostel ever, and I just loved it. The position is great - not the easiest to find the first time, but a few minutes to the main square of Marrakech, in the center of the medina. The atmosphere is chilled-out and friendly and the staff is so nice and welcoming that it takes them just a few hours to make you feel at home.Breakfast, moroccan tea and shisha included. Definitely an amazing accomodation in an amazing city

Stayed 18 days, in 6 bed dorm, power point next to bed and locker for more valuable stuff, comfortable bed warm blankets slept well every night. Good wifi good breakfast. I got bonus for longer stay, free laundry, one of the female staff cooked me a huge delicious free meal on 9th day. I did a modest amount of self catering when staff were not making their daily 100 pancakes. Hind and Hasceen {please forgive spelling] there throughout my stay both v friendly and v helpful. My grateful thanks.

We arrive easily following the directions stated by the hostel; just a few minutes from the main square, greeted with mint tea, Ali drew out all of the places of interest on a map with his mobile number incase we got lost or had any questions, the room was ready and clean, we were shown around the hostel and spent the afternoon on the rooftop terrace in the sun. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. Thanks again guys!

Free tea and hookah until 10! Plus it is a very social dorm. You can make the effort to stay away and enjoy time by yourself, otherwise it is a very easy and comfortable place to make friends. The workers are INCREDIBLE! My favorites were Allee and Mohammed. They do anything they can to help you and when they aren't helping people, they're just being cool. They're fun to hang out with as well. There are not many people I trusted there, but the staffers I trusted 100%. Great!

The guys that work here make all the difference in the world. This is my second time staying here and it wont be the last. It really does feel like home away from home.

Friendly staff and the hostel is near the square. Their 3 days trip to the desert is awesome.

it´s not ok, if in the middle of night, comes strange people and sleep in our payed beds and on next the same. If you give a tip for a spa, pleas give it only for a real spa, not for a tourist milking spa. We use professional, wonderful spa in Marrekesh. You must pay a little bit more, but its relaxing, the real spa!!! The staff is nice, onetime, they transport us with her own car. Respect. Greeting Michael von Germany

Owner Comment (Hide)
Dear Michael, You are right - it is not ok. The guest, we remember, and we are sure you do too (1 guest that is, not 'strange people') went into the wrong room, immediately apologised and left the room. Ali, the manager apologised to you too. The matter was resolved. We are not sure what relevance the spa has to a review about the hostel - we do not have a spa, and neither do we know what a 'tourist milking' spa is. Interesting turn of phrase though! Thanks!
