One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. The atmosphere was fantastic, the staff very friendly and helpfull and I felt very safe and welcome. The hostel was very nice decorated and had a very nice terrace on the roof. And the breakfast was the best! Hopefully this hostel will always stay like this! It is a bit hard to find the first time, because it is located in a small street, but that should not be a big problem if you follow the directions or led somebody show you the way.

the sleeping room was quite dark (bad lightening) and the wall, as well as the ceiling, somhow dirty/moist/ not in good condition. apart from that, the hostal is very good!

Really nice hostel. Great roof terrace, and very near the main square. Always mint tea and shisha and great breakfast.

Good location and shared spaces, but facilities (especially the toilets) need to be improved

On behalf of the group we really enjoyed our stay at Riad Rouge, we found the staff to be very fiendly and helpfull with all of our requests. We loved the roof terrace and the breakfast every morning, but most of all we loved Douglas the Cameleon! The only things I would improve is the beds in the 7 bed dorm are pretty uncomfortable and have worn into a weird shape so you almost fall out, and the showers could do with some improvement ( more / hotter water ).

Best vibe ever! The place is very nice and clean. Breakfast is great. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They are always ready to help and happy to chill out with guests. You can smoke shisha, drink tea and relax on the sofas in the lounge or on the nice rooftop terrace. It's a great place to get to know other travelers. It's inclusive and familiar. Travelers help each other and share information. It has more a commune than a hostel vibe. Best athmosphere ever! Will definitely come back

Really cool hostel with a lovely colourful interior. Breakfast is included and quite a feast. Tea and shisha are constantly available for free. They arranged a 3 day Sahara tour for us which was excellent and very cheap at only 950 dirhams. I highly recommend staying here.

Great people, great place, great fun!!! This hostel is one of the best, that I have ever been in, if you are coming to Marrkech you shouldnt stay anywhere else - in Marrakech Rouge you will get the authentic moroccan athmosphere, tee and sisha overloads and loads of good company. The breakfast is excelent and people working there kind, funny, ready to help. It is the right place to relax and enjoy - the sunny terase is the right spot for that.

Fantastic location, close to the square, but no noise from outside. Ali and the other staff are excellent. The hostel has a great atmosphere, it felt like coming home every evening. The breakfast (included!) is great, and they have free wifi, though their website says they dont (its new). The facilities are basic (its a hostel, d'uh!), but the showers have warm water. Lots of seating areas, and a central meeting place. No lockers, but secure main door. Take warm clothes to sleep in winter

This hostel was definitely a home away from home. We met some amazing people and the staff went above and beyond the call of duty for everyone. In my case, this involved tracking down and returning my lost phone from a taxi driver once I had returned to London. Nothing can beat the atmosphere and location of this hostel, which were two reasons why we enjoyed ourselves so much. Although we were a little disappointed with the bathroom facilities, we couldn't bear to leave.

The staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. Copious amounts of free mint tea and shisha. The room was cosy and secure. Only the shower on the roof had hot water but this was very hot which made up for it. Location is very close to the main square where everything happens at night. The only problem is that its a bit tricky to find as it is tucked down a side street, however you can arrange to have one of the members of staff come and meet you.

OK, I am not a big traveller, but I have seen some other places and never experienced anything like this before in a hostel. The staff was very helpful and flexible. Do not expect brand new furniture, but everything is clean and well looked after. Spent 1 night there and left our luggage for 3 days while we were on a desert trip. After returned we got the roof tent, which was also great. The breakfast is perfect, served by the hosts, so just lean back and enjoy your time in Marrakech (Rouge:)

if you pay hostel price for 1 bed (100) it is ok. But ensuite room was a room with a toilet separated by a shower curtain. Bed was impossible to sleep -floor would be more comfortable. it is impossible to find the place in the medina where there no names on the streets or signs. So when you enter the medina or the square, there are people who "help" you then ask you for 100-150 dh for showing you the way. the instructions given by the hostel are pretty useless. There is no internet.
