The guys who run this place are amazing. Absolutely cannot fault their kindness. Breakfast included was tasty. Did seem to always be a wait for a shower, but that could just be because they were taking a long time - I believe there are three showers. Be aware if you a re a non-smoker that there can be a fairly smokey environment. Very socialble place so perfect for meeting people and LOTS of areas to hang out in. Would stay here again for sure.

Hostel is very relaxing, staff is great and they take good care of you. Rooms are cleaned every day and tea is free :) On top of that the hostel is very cheap and located in the Medina

The staff is really friendly.. Ala and Ahmed helped us a lot! Just tell them what you want to do and they will help you or advice you! They know how to make you feel at home. You get served tea all day if you so wish to and you get this really Marrakech feeling while staying there!

Great hostel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Ali goes out of his way to make travelers feel welcome. Very good free breakfast and terrace overlooking the city. Recommended to anyone looking for a riad where they'll feel welcome and meet tons of interesting people.

The staff was incredible - so accommodating. But I DO NOT recommend. Why? The beds and bathrooms are disgusting, constantly soaking, and in our two nights the ceiling leaked, the sink wouldn't drain, and the power went out. Everything was dealt with quickly but I think problems are a typical occurrence. The security was the worst. The maids left our private room unlocked with the KEY IN THE DOOR. Unreal. And only day trips, no city tours or activities - disappointing

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the hostel, the chichia and tea, but the staff was really desorganized. The bookings weren't clear and I believe people stayed in the roof because it was full. The breaskfast was good but they should serve it more times. The time to turn the light off was too early (23h) The location was very good and the price too.

Owner Comment (Show)
Dear Bruna, Many thanks for your review. Just to clarify - bookings are perfectly clear - people sleep on the terrace because they have either booked to stay in one of our tents, or because they choose to sleep on the terrace now that the nights are not so cold. We don't specify to anyone at which time to 'turn the light off', but certainly we feel that 11pm is an appropriate time for keeping the communal areas calmer as other guests may want to go to sleep. As hostels are communal places in their very nature, it is only fair that we respect everyones' needs. Best wishes and happy future travels!

One of the best hostel I've ever been. The location couldn't be better, the environment is awesome, the staff very helpful, the manager Melic would do anything to make your stay expectacular, very good guy. Definitely a must if you come to Marrakech!!

Our stay was perfect. The only negative point was that the hostel was kind of hard to find and in the evening the little street to get to the hostel felt unsave. But for the rest the hostel itself is amazing with the best breakfast I have ever had.

Moment you step through the door you feel the warmth and the good vibes of the places. All the staff are great and willing to help with everything. Location is great near the main square market in Marrakech. The tours they offer are good value for your money and you get picked up and dropped of again! Sure to go back here!!

the hostel is great, of course, every corner is furnished with benches and pillows and little tables, and also the rooms are very cosy. but i felt at home, notably, because of the wonderful people owning the hostel. i happened to be sick during my stay, and besides free tee (that everyone can order at nearly all times), they were so nice as to get me some medicine and cared for me very nicely. thanks a lot!

This hostel is really great! I stayed here for three nights before I left for the desert. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and it was a great place to meet interesting fellow travellers around! If you have any questions you can ask Ali~Definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a nice hostel to stay and have a fabulous time in Marrakech.

Very friendly and helpful. Great welcoming atmoshere. Constant free tea and really good breakfast. not much hot water for shower. No place to lock up bags (a cubboard in the common room that doesn't have a lock. The owner just keeps an eye on it). Would recommend it!
