Total hippie hostel with all the pros and cons, the atmosphere was great, the facilities were all in various stages of not working. The staff was amazing with the exception on one guy. One of the staff, Muhammad, took a liking to one of the girls on our trip and we caught him coming into our room in the middle of the night. Unacceptable. I would recommend avoiding flirting too hard as it may have come across wrong.
Excellent atmosphere! Very nice terrace and common area downstairs! Offered a really good breakfast! Perfect to meet people if travelling by yourself! Offered tour to the desert for a reasonable price! The staff sometimes was a little bit slow for the check-in, serving breakfast or answering the door at night.. but still very helpful for informations and helping people the got sick! Doesn't have lockers for the backpack or door keys to the room, but had no problems at all with that!
Excellent location, good facilities, very friendly staff!
Greqt place to visit .I arrived at the airport after a delayed flight and Marrakech rouge hostel arranged a taxi for me at 1.30AM from the airport then hamouda meet me at the taxi and was very welcoming. As a solo traveller I would defently recommend this place, they are great!
Very friendly staff and very helpful, really flexible if you want to stay for another night(s)! A good hostel to meet other travellers and backpackers, for instance to go on trekking trips to the Atlas mountains.
One of the most social hostels that I've stayed in. Great if you are travelling on your own or in a group. Laundry is a bit slow and was still a bit wet. Don't let people take you to the hostel without agreeing a price first as they will ask for a crazy amount of money. A number of people got stung by this while I was there, just follow the instructions on Hostelworld as these will get you there.
What can I say about this incredible place...Lots. Marrakech is a crazy place and once you get to the hostel the excitement is washed away in a see of pure luxury and relaxation. Thousands places to lie and chill and chat with other travellers about the incredible thins to see do, eat and buy in the red city. You can ask for tea or coffee through out the day and they are accompanied by the most incredible biscuits. Rooms and fab. Terrace is great for sun. Make sure you try the shower on Terrace!
One of the best hostels I have stayed at - friendly people, helpful and enthusiastic staff, unbelievable atmosphere and Marrakech is amazing. I couldn't recommend this hostel more highly.
Excellent hostel for a few nights stay in Marrakech. The hostel is clean and located near to Djemma el Fna (the main square) in the Old Medina. The staff were friendly and recommended places to visit, where to eat and advised us on visiting the souks. They also organised a 3D2N trip to The Alas Mountains and The Sahara which was the highlight of our trip. Thank you for all your help and we will definitely recommend you to our friends.

Fantastic hostel. Great location, really helpful staff.
If arriving from the airport, definitely have the hostel arrange a taxi to pick you up. Ask them for guidance on tipping. The offer breakfast and free WiFi. The staff was extremely helpful, hospitable and friendly. It's about a five minute walk from the heart of the city. Great location.
We had a great stay at Marrakesh Rouge. The hostel has a great atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and helpful, answering all your questions and helping you on your way through the medina, which is, indeed, a littly bit tricky. We returned to Marrakesh 3 times on our trip through Morocco and they always had a place for us,even if we hadn't booked in advance.By the way, thanks to Abdel for inviting us to tea!!!We can highly recommend this hostel!!!Greetings from Germany
cool opportunity to sleep on the rooftops of marrackech. very hospitable staff and lots of awesome mint tea
The minute we walked through the narrow door we felt welcome! The staff puts in all their efforts to make you feel at home. Will definitely recommend this to other travellers!
I've chosen this hostel after reading all the extrapositive comments but once there I was not that impressed. I had to wait more than 30min to do&complete the check-in and I had to wait ages to have something for breakfast the morning after. The location is good and the hostel is quite clean. I've asked staff to suggest me 1 hammam nearby and they "forgot" to mention that there was one just next door...It was too late when I noticed it :(
It's a really nice hostel and really close to Jeema El-Fna (main square). When we came back, we realised we had a pair of bed bug's stings. Not too bad, but neither too agreeable. If the hostel would be cleaner, it could be (without any doubt) one of the best hostel in Marrakech. Excellent staff and atmosphere.
Definitely it is an amazing hostel with a incridible atmosphere. They organize really good tours from there to Sahara Desert.
I really enjoyed the hostel and it had a really cool vibe to it. Everyone was very helpful and breakfast was delicious.
