This hostel is really great! I stayed here for three nights before I left for the desert. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and it was a great place to meet interesting fellow travellers around! If you have any questions you can ask Ali~Definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a nice hostel to stay and have a fabulous time in Marrakech.
Very friendly and helpful. Great welcoming atmoshere. Constant free tea and really good breakfast. not much hot water for shower. No place to lock up bags (a cubboard in the common room that doesn't have a lock. The owner just keeps an eye on it). Would recommend it!

Very cool place to hang out, smoke hookah, drink a beer, or just relax from the madness in the souks! Only stayed here one night, but was really impressed by the character and location!

Riad Marrakech Rouge is very lucky and should be honored to have staff such as Malaki and what seemed to be was the butler working for them. They are absolutely incredibly welcoming and friendly people, every morning, afternoon and night I was offered amazing tasting tea and shisha and they offer great excursions. The one upsetting thing is that I wanted to cancel 2 nights (which I was going to spend with them in Sahara) and they would not return my money. But all in all, amazing experience.

My private room was without power for the duration of the stay. No compensation was offered or any attempt to fix the problem. There was also no hot water at night and I was unable to lock the door of my room from the inside. The day staff was very socialable and helpful. The riad had excellent atomsphere.

I stayed two nights at Marrakech Rouge and loved it! Very laid back atmosphere and run by great people. Ali is hilarious and kind. There is green tea in abundance at any time of day, and a delicious breakfast in the morning. The beds were comfy and warm. Overall, excellent experience, and for the price it's unbeatable.

This is hands-down the best hostel I have ever stayed at. The atmosphere was phenomenal - everyone was so friendly and outgoing. It was clean every morning and we could count on hot showers, comfy beds and amazing breakfasts. However, the best part of the hostel is the staff. They are extraordinarily helpful with everything from walking with you to get a taxi to booking tours. Special thanks to Ali and Madeline for making our time so memorable by taking us to the chic bar!

Despite being in the old city, the hostel is actually really easy to find. You wind a bit, and take a couple of turns that aren't really expected but it's not difficult at all. And if you arrive in Marrakech at night and call the hostel, they can meet you in the old square in front of one of the famous cafes. The atmosphere was great! It was really easy to meet fellow travelers in the central area. Breakfast was substantial and free. If you're traveling in the winter, the rooms can get cold

The people at Marrakech Rouge really make the experience. The owner and his brother are the nicest people in the world and do anything they possibly can to make your stay more comfortable and to help you enjoy Marrakech.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. It was a very relaxed and welcoming hostel with everything you could want. Thank you for helping us organise our stay in Morocco it made our trip even better. The hostel hooked us up with a great three day desert tour, bus tickets and a massage. It meant we didn't need to stress about anything. I would definitely recommend this hostel and stay here again. Thankyou

The hostel was really perfect for us! the place is colourful and beautiful, the atmosphere is really outstanding, we met some really nice and interesting people there and especially Ali is the best entertainer! :) I would definitely recommend the place and if I find myself in Marrakech again some day, I will come back for sure!

If you are staying in Marrakech, I can think of no place better to stay than the Marrakech Rouge. The decor is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, the atmosphere is inviting, the guests are friendly, the staff is among the best I've ever encountered, and the price is unbeatable. Ali runs a fine establishment, and you couldn't hope for a better home base for your trip. 10/10 would stay again.

Very well-run place close to the Jemaa el-Fna. The place itself is beautiful and the staff very nice; especially Abel Esstar and Ali. Definitely a place I would recommend. My only (minor) complaint was that one guy of the staff (whose name i forgot) insisted on listening to very loud techno music in the main room and turned it up again after the guests turned it down.

The Hostel Rouge was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and made you feel comfortable in the crazyness of Marrakesh. Tea was always ready for you whenever you returned from the medina and there were lots of great people to meet in the hostel.

Cleanliness was an issue here, and the bathroom facilities for the amount of people at this location was not appropriate. The conversion of the upstairs balcony was also a poor decision, converting the best socialising area in the hostel into another room was a mistake in my opinion. The location is the best part and the staff, they are happy to organize things for you, there just seems to be a lack of organisation in this hostel.
