The fact that you book into one hostel, and then are sent to the other is a huge problem for me. I looked at Riad Rouge 2, and 1, and decided to stay in 1, only to be sent to 2 when I got there. There is a different atmosphere, different staff, etc... so please stop doing this. The night staff was rude, and it was very hard to communicate with him. If you offer beer, offer beer. Fix your bathroom/shower issue. Hot water, and toilet in the same room as showers. Girls need MIRRORS with LIGHTS

Good staff, quiet at night, near the main square, join Sahara tour 3D2N through the hostel, the tour arrangement is good.

So beautiful, i wanted to stay for 1 night but then decided to stay 3 more nights beacause it was just such a nice place to be and to waste your time staying in the sun on the roof terrace. 27 degrees in february, mint tea always for free, internet for free, polite and funny hotel manager

Great hostel! Perfect location and the staff is amazing! They make you feel like you're family and always offer you free tea and advice. The breakfast is delicious and always fresh, the atmosphere is relaxed and fun, the roof terrace is amazing for enjoying the sunny days in Marrakech! I definitely recommend this hostel, it is one of the best I've ever stayed at and I can't imagine that there is a better one in the city :)

Definitely one of the best, if not the best, hostels i've been staying in so far! Great value for the money, nice atmosphere, friendly people... just all you can hope for if you're going abroad.

You really get good value for your money. The little lack of cleanliness in the sanitary rooms is overcompensated by the nice colourful courtyard, the sunny rooftop terraces, the gentle owners and the friendly staff and – not to forget - the free tea throughout the day (or night).

This is like the perfect hostel. Perfect location, helpfull staff always with a word for you, help or offer some tea, a tasty breakfast, a hostel full of atmosphere and really beatutiful inside. Great locarion, really near the Jamaa el Fna. If I have the opportunity to back again to Marrakesh I will not try to find another place to stay. This is the place.

I was slightly deceived in reading about this hostel. Though I enjoyed my stay, this hostel should not be rated 95%. It is a great value for your money, and is located in the touristic old Medina, but I wouldn't recommend it to those who are used to the finer things in life. There was no hot water upstairs & the power was out one morning, so I took a shower with a candle. There aren't an lockers and the "safe" is a kitchen cabinet. The hookah, free Moroccan tea & breakfast was awesome!!

It's a nice little Riad in a pretty shady location just a 5 minute walk from the Jemaa el-Fnaa market. It was a good location if that's what you want though. It is very difficult to find so definitely print the map they email you. It's down a pretty dark alley so I wouldn't recommend for women by themselves. Note that the 'safe' is an unlocked cabinet in the kitchen that is guarded 97% of the time.

Great atmosphere with excellent customer service. Great place to relax after a busy day in the crowds in the Medina.

Very friendly, good atmosphere and great breakfast. But the first night I, along with others who had arrived that night, did not have our own room and were just put in a public room off the main courtyard, without our own bathroom or any lockers and just a thin curtair separating us from the night, which was really less than ideal and not what I had paid for. When I was moved into a proper room however, the facilities were fine.

Really enjoyed my stay in this hostel. The atmosphere is great. The best things are the free tea because it gets the guests to socialise together, and the friendliness of Malik and the other staff. They are good at getting people onto tours and thus make the most of being Morocco. There were many first time explorers to Morocco in the hostel, but also many people who were returning to Marrakech or Morocco. It deserves my high rating!

Malek and the rest of the staff were fantastic, they went that extra mile for us, and nothing phased them (even 4 60+ women). We had a lovely time and always felt safe, secure and very welcome. Thank you all.

We had a really great time here. The people are amazing and the roof terrasse is a little bit of paradise in the middle of of the busy medina. there is always someone who opens the door for you and who makes really nice thee for you. When we were leaving morocco we wanted to spent another night overhere, but it was so full that they didn't had any space left, but if you give them a big smile, they turn the couch into a really nice bed for you. it was AWESOME!!

Great atmosphere, full of interesting people each with their own story to tell. Would definitely recommend! There does need to be something done about some of the showers though as well as the fact that the room i was put in got very cold at night and had no heating. Everyone in the room noticed this and it did upset the otherwise fantastic experience of the hostel.
