Hostel River Reviews

It was really a nice, cheap hostel near to the city centre. We where impressed about the manual skills of the owner - he restaurated the hole hostel and created a stress-free atmosphere. We would definitly come back again!

I thought it was a good hostel, but lacking in helpful information for seeing Plzen and getting to know the town. Close to the train station and very friendly staff.

On Hostelworld there were no directions on how to get to the hostel from the bus station, they simply say call to arrange a pick up, but when I rang they told me to get a tram into town, pick up a map from the info centre and then walk from there. Once i was there i had to go to the pizza shop next door to pay and pick up the keys. Maybe this was just because I was arriving on a Sunday though. The hostel itself was pretty good, clean and cozy, but very quiet as I was the only one there!
