A great Place!!!

The hostel owner is extremly nice and helpful. Bathroom and hostelrooms could use some cleaning though.

The host is very good and helpful. Drow us to and from the bus station. Knows alot.

The facilities I rated poor, as the hostel advertised having a kitchen and laundry service. However the Owner told us he didnt let customers cook due to poor ventilation... However this was one of the main reason we picked the hostel. And then they told us they don't provide laundry service. So the two main reasons we picked the hostel for was a lie. otherwise the owner was lovely, wifi was fine, beds fine, everything else was good. It was nice and quiet.

The best thing was being picked up and dropped off at the train station for free! Plus it is a great location! I would only say is the bathroom could use some bleach :-)

Me and my 6 friends spent a wonderful New Year´s Eve in Sarajevo. I dare to say it was the best one so far. One of the crucial components was accommodation. Kesten- owners made sure we feel safe and welcomed, provided us with sweets and coffee, gave us some insider tips, were very very tolerant. The best option if you are considering hostels in Sarajevo. The location cant be better, you are in the middle of the main street, everything ( market, liquor, food jewelry shops) is in walking distance

Kesten hostel is great. The quality is not in the highest level ,but staff are making to do it. Also, staff are very friendly, tell how to get to hostel ,take different currency. Location in the city centre . Price is less expencive then other ,so it is great choise to pick this hotel. Me and my mates are happy to choi Kesten hostel .

The best thing about this hostel is the perfect location (close to the most interesting part of Sarajevo - Baščaršija) and Mr. Kenan, who was one of the best hosts ever. He picked us up from the bus station by car and took us back to the bus station when we were leaving Sarajevo. The hostel is quite clean, and the double bed room was nice. I would definitely say it's a good choice for a short stay in Sarajevo.

Tv in the double private room is a nice touch! Fantastic location and we were picked up and dropped off at bus/train station which was wonderful! We were also allowed to hang out in our room until the late bus for no extra charge!!

Very friendly and accommodating. The ride from the bus station was a huge asset. You need to get better maps for those who are walking / taking transit though. Sarajevo was not in my GPS. I would stay here again. You also should provide cooking ware in the kitchen as many people would need this. The private room here was great with my own tv. I would definitely stay here again. One block from old city centre. Ideal location.

We really enjoyed our stay here after a lot of dorm rooms! Kenan picked us up from the bus station and was fantastic, really friendly and lovely. He gave us lots of ideas for where to go and what to do. The beds were comfy and it was nice to have a TV, The location was absolutely brilliant and you could walk to everywhere - thoroughly recommended.

We arrived late at night to receive a warm welcome from the owners father of whom provided us with everything we could have needed especially a warm cup of tea! Our remarkable room was spotless with a balcony view over the old town of Sarajevo! Great location on a whole our stay in Sarajevo was made even better by staying in this hostel

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. The owner very kindly picked us up and dropped us off at the train station early in the morning/late at night for free and was extremely helpful with city information. The hostel is very clean, rooms are comfortable and it is a very short walk to the city centre with lots of food options nearby. Couldn't recommend this more highly.

Good value for money. The parking is unsecure on the street.

Hostel Rooms Kesten is a charming little place and I would happily recommend it! However there are a couple of things to be aware of: the facilities are not as described. Not all the rooms are air-conditioned and the kitchen is really only a fridge. The other issue we had whilst there was that the owner was not present at all during our stay, only his father who does not speak English; we had to rely on other travellers to inform us of the Wi-Fi key and to translate for us to organise payment

Very nice staff, very helpful to get picked up from bus station! The cost was 10e, since we arrived at the station that is really far from the center. Great location, nice place. Would definitely recommend this hostel!

The staff were friendly and helpful. Although the location is a 15 minute walk from the old town its situated in the middle of everything, and the walk into town is beautiful! No complaints what so ever, and would recommend this accommodation to anyone! Had a great stay!

Bathroom was rather dirty, host seldomly there to help with everything and kitchen was not at all equipped. Webpage said airconditioner in every room, but that is just wrong. Location is very good, though.

Good place to stay in. Good facilities and location and for a good price.

Great place to stay in Sraajevo, wouldn't want more. Recomended!
