We were very satisfied with this central located hostel. We had our own kitchen but we shared bathroom with others. The only bad thing is that there\'s no tv-room. The tv is on the wall in the kitchen and there\'s only hard chairs to sit on. We expected a soft sofa to sit on and watch tv.

We stayed in the apartment for 5 people, it was very spacious but basic, the kitchen was convenient. They need to put in a mount so you can shower without having to hold the shower hose. We spent most of the time out and about so the excellent location made the Rosemary a great choice for us.

I stayed there only for one night, but if you stay longer in Prague, I'd recommend a more cosy place. My impression was, that there were staying lot of weird characters. Very poor kitchen facilitys . Only one bathroom, only one toilet for dorm (12 people). Very noisy as its situated on a side road out of cobblestone. Nice staff! Free Coffee/Tea. Short distances to main station and city centre.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff and perfect location, you feel comfortable and safe, a hostel not for party but for rest, the only inconvenient was that we had to deal with an old lady who wanted to sleep without any whispering since 10 pm

I was so impressed with Hostel Rosemary. I arrived in the early hours of the morning and was greeted with a smile. The lady at the reception was so hospitable - she even upgraded me to my own room, which I really appreciated. Rooms immaculate. Clean, spacious, great kitchen facilities, Wifi, internet and such a handy location - just a few hundred metres from the main train station. Thank you very much. I will definitely recommend your hostel to others.

There are kitchen and silverware in the room, Every two room share a set of bathroom, Which means every six ppl share one.Its a bit inconvenient. But the location is great, near train station and just a few steps from toursity places.

It was okay for our group of youth to stay at this hostel. The appartments were different. One was big and very nice the other one small and not value for the money we paid. The crew was very friendly and the location is absolutely perfect.

There is not any staff during after 7pm in the hostel, and sometimes it can be a problem, because they have a daily code to acess the room instead a key, and it changes every day. But the hostel is very good, with good facilities and very clean. The infra-structure is good and have a good organization. And it's very near the central rail station (where you can find buses to airport as well). Metro station is close, but it's possible acess all the city by a little walk.

Owner Comment (Show)
Hello, thank you for your comment. The reception is open from 8am till 7pm, but after that we are in staying in the 3rd floor in an apartment. You have it written on the reception doors that if you have any problem during the night you can just come to the 3rd floor or ring the bell Night reception. There is always someone in the building with you, dont worry.

good location, good facilities for 8 dorm, good staf and clean room.. 8 dorm was at roof, and u can watch the moon and stars if ur bad under the one of sunroofs..but the negative side is (for all prag's problem) if you go to prag with your own car that parking is big problem..you cant park ur car to near of residence.. hostel must have parking area for its guests..

Hostel Rosemary is situated directly in the city center. We have found this possition for our guests doesnt have to use the public trasport. But unfortunatelly its not very good possition for car parking. We can offer you to park in nearby / 5minutes walk/ garages, for our guest for special price 17 EUR per day/car. You just have to order it in advance and pick up a ticket for the garages and pay at the reception. Regards Rosemary

Definitely a solid hostel for the price..........the rooms were very clean and I felt safe at all times! I would recommend this hostel for anyone staying in Prague due to the location and the value you are getting for such a cheap price.

We stayed in an apartment here and can now say, "We had an apartment in Prague!" even if it was for just one night! The room was sold under "two bed private room", but it was acutally fully equipped as an apartment (I think this may be because it was the off season). The people at the hostel were very helpful, even providing a map of the city and recommendations on what to see. Every aspect of our stay made us feel at home and it was VERY secure (though there wasn't a curfew).

This place completely lacked any character and could not provide lockers to keep valuables. Staff was distant, both physically and in terms of warmth. I am sure you could do better than stay at this hostel.

Great place! We stayed in room number 2. We asked for a triple share private room when booking and were given a large apartment with 8 single beds and a kitchen. The kitchen was handy but lacked a lot of simple items such as a sharp knife, kettle (although one is available in the common room), and a few other things. Wifi was great but stopped working on the last night. Excellent location and the staff were very friendly and eager to help. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.
