We could only stay here for one night but i am glad we did. has a very social environment and rooms are clean. you have your own key to get the room and lockers.staff are willing to help you about everything. not in center of wien but only a short way with metro. i would love to stay here again.
Awesome atmosphere. Great location, close to a main train station. I highly recommend this hostel. It stays quiet at reasonable hours too.

Really cute little place in Vienna :) it's a little outside of city centre but close to westbanhof station so it's no issue! You can meet people in the bar or if you want to relax hang out in the gardens, this hostel has the best of both worlds. I loved the themed rooms and staff were v. Helpful and friendly. One of the best hostels I've stayed at!
Lovely, relaxed hostel with friendly, helpful staff and clean facilities.

Lovely hostel. Staff friendly, helpful and cheerful. Rooms clean and the whole hostel really well kept and looked after. Quiet and easy to sleep there. Well equipped kitchen (which was important for us) and a super outdoor space to eat in, as well as lots of space indoors to meet people and enjoy books, games and music. Loved the array of travel guides there for you to peruse and borrow, as well as the book exchange. A bit of a walk into town but worth it for such a good hostel. Thanks!
Such a great homely feeling hostel, pretty good location and staff were always really friendly and happy to help out!
Very nice hostel - good atmosphere and nice people. Upon arrival the light in our room did not work - the staff were very accommodating and we actually ended up being moved into a whole apartment with a garden, which was lovely! Because we had our own kitchen we did not use the shared kitchen, but it looked very nice and clean, and the facilities were good, including an outdoor and indoor seating area. The hostel is about a 30 minute walk to the centre, so convenient if you do not mind walking.
great staff. great location. laundry services. has everything you need.
I had a lovely time at the hostel; mostly due to the people I met there. The staff were very helpful, able to recommend wine taverns, and easily give directions.
The hostel is very close to train and metro stations. It's in walking distance to the city center. It's clean, safe and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. There is a good breakfast for 3,50 euros.
Recommend this hostel! Has a kitchen for use, wifi is good, location is close to the metro stop but it is a walk (20-25min) to the old city or palace. Clean bathrooms, comfortable beds and in the evening you can grab a drink at the bar as there is a good vibe in the common room area!
Really enjoyed my stay here for two nights, the staff were lovely and the hostel has a great feel. Perfect if you want to relax while meeting new people. Location is very good - less than 5 mins from one of the main metro stations that gets you into the city within 5 mins. Also, there are plenty of supermarkets and places to get food near the hostel. Thank you Hostel Ruthensteiner!
We had a very beautiful time in that hostel, definitely we will come back again.
Amazing! One of the top 2-3 hostels I've been been in, at a reasonable price! It's a large hostel with a great atmosphere and not one of those big 'factory hostels' like wombat. Good breakfast, cheap/good drinks, lots of city info, good staff, nice rooms. Gardens/decks are beautiful. Best hostel for hanging out in. Power outlets everywhere, good wifi.
Overall a very nice hostel, great staff. Street outside my room got a bit noisy at night (people coming back drunk)
Awesome hostel with really friendly staff :) the facilities are great and the garden areas are really nice.
The hostel is very clean and homely. The room was on the small side but the common space, both the rooms and gardens, were so nice that we didn't need to spend too much time in the bedroom. The instruments for guest use was a very nice touch. The hostel is not right in the centre of Vienna, but the underground system is excellent and only a few minutes walk away. Staff were always friendly and helpful.
Not a single bad word I can say about this hostel! The staff were great and happy to help. Contained all the facilities necessary. Atmosphere was great at night, perfect for meeting fellow travellers. Strongly recommend!
Great Place! It's not in the very center of Vienna, but it's easy to get there using metro or renting a bike from the hostel. Bikes were great. The hostel is quite big, but it doesn't feel crowded at all. Loved the courtyards! Staff was friendly, very helpful and made great recommendations. I would stay there again.
Great hostel, the only thing is check out time at 10 and the cleaning ladies start cleaning the room before that around 9:30 am, so if you stay another night they will wake you up anyway making noise.
