This hostel was okay. It was quite inconvenient with reception only being open for a few hours. Also, we were told that we could store our bags the day we checked out, but when the time came we were told we could not. They were not very helpful. The rooms were good though.

Staff friendly and helpful....... BUT room not cleaned daily, Very small space, walls in room dirty and needs painting badly, closet door hinge broken and finishing (what there was there) looked like it came from the local dump eg chair covering torn and thread-bare and the back of the chairs were missing the backrest!

Enjoyable stay. Room had a nice character and the location was great. Being able to leave our bags in the lobby after checkout was certainly helpful, thank you.

The hostel was nice. When we arrived we were presented with a room that had a door that didnt lock.. We were upgraded to a nicer room, which was the one I thought I had paid for online..Towards the end of our stay there was an issue with the plumbing, in which one of the front desk gurls had to clean up while we were out siteseeing.. We didnt think she had the best of moods with us because of this, even though we werent the cause of the issue.. On a whole I would rate this Hostel a 3 out of 5..

I would highly recommend this hostel.

Loved the hostel! We were honestly surprised that it was a 'hostel' and not a 'hotel'. Rooms were small, but I saw bigger ones available. There probably weren't enough bathrooms for how many people there were though. Location was a little north of everything, but not a bad walk. Nonetheless, we were very pleased. Great value for the money! Would recommend.

First of all, this place does not have an elevator, so you need to use the stairs, and if you have heavy luggage it is going to be very uncomfortable for you to take your bags to the reception desk. Second, the staff is not helpful, they work for a few hours per day, and if you need their help, you will have to wait for them until they have lunched or they have come back from wherever they are. Third, the facilities of the place are really old and dirty, be very careful with the toilets!

I was extremely disappointed with this hostel and the rude staff, especially for the price I was paying (which was the same for hostels much nicer.) The facilities were old, worn down, and dirty. I did not feel comfortable sleeping in the beds or using the showers. The disrespectful woman at the desk made my experience at this hostel even worse. I will not be returning and will not be suggesting this establishment to anyone else.

There were two bathrooms on either side of the hallway which was nice! The rooms were very cozy. There wasn't a big room to hangout and meet people in, but I was traveling with a friend so I didn't mind but if I were traveling alone I'd choose somewhere else more social. However, it is a great location!

If I went back to Florence, I will definitely stay at this hostel. Excellent service provided by awesome people. :)

Perfectly located and very cute small inn. Cleanliness in rooms and kindness at the reception. We've enjoyed everything about this place...and we'll be back for sure !!

Be prepared to pack light: the hostel itself is up 2-3 flights of stairs and you room will be up more. That can be pretty challenging if you have a huge suitcase. The hostel itself is very secure and staffed by an attendant almost all day. She was very helpful in giving recommendations and maps. The walls are thin so it was loud at night, and the rooms are small, but it's a good value for the money.

It was a good stay, warm room, confartable beds but we had a terrible smell coming from the bathroom, probably due to pipes, could it be improved?

I felt that the bathroom and hallways smelt disgusting. The whole time we were in our room (which was close to the bathroom), we had to make sure to keep our door closed because the hallway smelled so bad.

Great location, really kind lady at the reception desk, bed clothes and towels provided, what else can you want from a ho(s)tel? Definetely would consider coming back there with another visit in Firenze.
